this is a myth. pls don't use this as a judgment to choose a job. i'm working in one of the big 4s and the OT/claims they give is a joke. it's basically dictated by seniors, managers or who-knows-who of higher ups available. even though you're working OT practically everyday, seniors would generally send you an e-mail with the timesheet "guiding" you how you should key in your claims and OT for the 1st half or 2nd half of the month; which may average only once or twice a week(most of the time, it's zero). so, if you're genuinely working hard(which means OT all the time), you're out of luck with whatever claims you may want to have. what does this type of culture cultivate? well, put yourself in that shoe and see what you'll start to think/do.New grad-Big4 vs BigBank
