QUOTE(alexei @ Feb 9 2015, 10:08 AM) warpatsAt that speed, I think mine shows Instant FC of <9L/100km. Only at 130kmh I hit 10L/100km. Using fully synthetic 10W-40. Car contains only two adults and 1 kid. Need to make sure tire pressure of 36 psi. Otherwise, the FC will be +1 higher. When fully loaded last time with 5 adults and 1 kid, the FC like yours 10L/100km at 110kmh. tehsarbatmy plumredA few videos you gotta see to convince yourself, ABS, EBD, TC and ESC are 'must have' features. At constant speed on Jalan persekutuan (TRG) at 25 km every morning, the panel shows 9.5ltr. The speed just between 80 to 100km. Need to adjust to make it a bit lower?

wai1460Have you sent your EB for tire balancing and alignment? Have you recently rotated the tires? Please share some hints.

Need to adjust to make it a bit lower? Adjust what? The FC meter? I don't think it can be adjusted.Perhaps detail out your drive condition? Which EO, tire pressure etc that you are using? Today driving uphill, and tried to accelerate from 40kmh at full throttle. Find that the EB is very hesitant to accelerate. I believe it is due to CVT limiting the engine torque... anyone chime in your experience? This post has been edited by alexei: Feb 9 2015, 01:32 PM |

In order to have better response u should engage to "L" instead of accelerate at "D". It really make a different !!! Adjust what? The FC meter? I don't think it can be adjusted. Tire pressure maintain at 33psi (front + rear), normally on city driving This post has been edited by wai1460: Feb 9 2015, 02:42 PM |

are the exora 16" sports rim lighter (in weight) than the steel rims or just purely for aesthetics only?

Went to sc this morning with the hope of getting the engine mounting replacement, but the sa said they overtight the em previously. Hopefully no more annoying sound after this. I don't know what would happen if mine warranty over. Would the driving mentality change or not.Now the last thing on my mind is to fix the rattling sound, hopefully engine mounting or ABS disc sound. Good luck to you. |

QUOTE(Bigboyz @ Feb 10 2015, 12:21 AM) Are you on sat? The limiting I get if the torque gets over the threshold is engine will cut power momentarily. Normally this will occur during launch under certain circumstances. Yeah, my bad for not making it clearly. It was a long stretch uphill, straight road. Not sure the incline but I'd say about 5. I was behind a car, slowly moving at 40kmh. I tried to overtake, remain in D, pressed the throttle gradually and the engine revs but do not feel the pull. RPM goes from 2 to 3. Released throttle, follow the car again, switch to L, pressed the throttle again, and similar thing happened. The car slowly and painfully accelerated from 40 to 60 at 3k RPM... Yes, I used both D and L to accelerate, with similar outcome. No, I wasn't using SAT. Too bad at the time I didn't have my OBD switched on, else perhaps I'd have more clue what's going on. Immediately after that, on a flat road, the car accelerates normally. This is why I thought CVT torque limiting was causing the slow acceleration during uphill, and I'm wondering if anyone also observed the same thing. |

Cool what obd are you using. I have never experienced that scenario. Could it be clutch slipping?

QUOTE(Bigboyz @ Feb 10 2015, 01:10 PM) Here are the OBD readings detected by Torque Pro (need to buy in Play Store).Otherwise, you can try Torque Free for more basic readings. Those in dark colors means not detected. QUOTE » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
