You may try to drive your car with "Aircon" OFF, the cooling fan should run when u Park & stop the engine.

Guys, just to share as of todated after the last service my overcrank issued resolved. Managed to talk to the foreman who did the service on my EB & below is what he did.

1. Software adaptation(most of us did).
2. Service/clean engine throttle body.

Ontop of that I DIY for my engine grounding & can feel my EB is much easy/lighter during crank start.

Mean...making my own copper cable & connect between the engine top mount to batt(-Ve) terminal. Does feel the engine is much lighter during morning start-up.

Guys, I DIY 3 point from engine top mount to batt -ve terminal... Do observe the ignition/start is much smoother & lighter.


A friend of mine told me, by adding this ground cable to the batt terminal will actually improve the resistance will then improve the potential different. He told me his CRV did observe ~15% fuel improve but I have yet to confirmed, as of now does not seem to see the benefit of fuel save. Only can feel the ignition is much smoother..

I DIY from "dual core" speaker cable trim to fit & cover with shrinkable tube & clamp the cable lug by myself....

Cos I did show mine to my SC which the steering "holding rubber coupling" can't hold the shaft when we steer left & right(shifting) but the foreman claimed Exora is design in this way...

In order to have better response u should engage to "L" instead of accelerate at "D". It really make a different !!!

Guys, a friend of mine own an ~2years ++ bold that have the similar issue that bias toward right & steering free play. He claimed the "Gear Complete power steering" once thru MIR complaint but problems recur after ~4months & he got another replacement 2 weeks back but encounter loud Humming sound after few days of drive & need to send back for repair again....

Don't think this is normal. I do encounter this similar problems ~2 months ago, it happen in the morning & something under hot sun.

Did fed back during my 15K service 3 weeks back but can't find any fault code so nothing done...but to my surprise the "Parking level lock" problems gone after that



Here come another problems about 2 weeks after service, start to see the RED CVT light pop-up intermittently but nothing wrong with the car. Make appointment this noon to debug & found faulty Brake switch then get it replace superb to have this all activities done within 50mins...

U may need to monitor your car & start to fed back to your usual SC to have them alert...

Hahaha !!! Lucky u, I experience the same like yours & this "CVT" indication light come n goes.... I got it fixed by changing the brake switch like what I mentioned earlier... small problems no worry.

I did encounter once but it happen intermittently especially during rainy day & the brake paddle is activiated. Send for checking & found brake switch faulty, got it replace & everything goes back norm...

Hi Guys, just back from SC center to have my aircon-compressor bearing replace(cold start got squeaky sound).
While waiting for the replacement job, did chat with 1 of the service rep & was told this Oil Hose replacement is " 40K service initiative replacement" instead of recall. For those EB that exceeded warranty will need to pay(~RM12 for hose exclude the clip). In other word when reach 80K we will need to replace with our own pocket money,,,

I'm from Ipoh, did it at Jln Gopeng SC after 2nd time complaint(1st time they apply silicon coat but only last about 1 week++). The service here is good & satisfactory so far.

You may check the "sign appear" in our car manual to confirmed what error is that. If confirmed is the CVT sign that come On & Off then very high chance is the brake paddle switch KO/dirty. Mine happen 6 months ago especially when rainy day & issued resolved after replace the brake switch(in fact OBD will show the error). Hope it help
