QUOTE(vivakarna @ Feb 3 2015, 08:59 AM) just want to update the outcome of my previous issues. I face issue 2 occasionally. Not sure if it's the spark plug?1) Brake got friction noise while braking - service brake. 2) Engine difficult to start and need to crank many times - checked by padt - no trouble code - ecu new version 03/13 - service throttle body and reduce 3) Engine dies off while reverse - do first initialization + clutch adaptation 4) Fan sometimes not working - fixed socket 5) Front driver seat bouncing - seat normal. tested ok. 6) Upgrade to copper nipple. All issues has been solved! |

Guys, how long did your battery last? Mine will be 2 years in May. Mileage close to 20k. Battery still seems ok.

I always thought battery lasts around 1.5 yrs. surprised to see it can last that long. In that case I'll not change it for now.

QUOTE(alexei @ Feb 5 2015, 09:56 AM) Thanks bro. I did compare before but afraid the 45 series might cause the ride to be bumpy. So far I'm glad I took the 50 series. Moreover the speedo always reads slower than the waze speed. That's my rationale for choosing 50 series. Maybe the fuel might makan abit more tho |

QUOTE(alexei @ Feb 9 2015, 01:30 PM) wai1460Have you sent your EB for tire balancing and alignment? Have you recently rotated the tires? Please share some hints. Are you on sat? The limiting I get if the torque gets over the threshold is engine will cut power momentarily. Normally this will occur during launch under certain circumstances.Adjust what? The FC meter? I don't think it can be adjusted. Perhaps detail out your drive condition? Which EO, tire pressure etc that you are using? Today driving uphill, and tried to accelerate from 40kmh at full throttle. Find that the EB is very hesitant to accelerate. I believe it is due to CVT limiting the engine torque... anyone chime in your experience? |

Cool what obd are you using. I have never experienced that scenario. Could it be clutch slipping?

QUOTE(alexei @ Feb 12 2015, 09:55 AM) IOS Bluetooth restricts serial data, from what I've read. You either need to jb the device and remove the restriction in iOS, or try the WiFi version dongle. I just did some searching and found elm327 wifi. Just wondering there is a price of 80 to 140. Any idea on the price diff Isit the same thing? |

Speaking about tyres, can I use the stock recommended tyre pressure for 215/50/17? Since it's slightly lower profile, should a higher pressure be used?

QUOTE(sKypRiNcE734 @ Feb 21 2015, 11:06 PM) Yea bro,my rear view mirror (got reverse camera) housing cracked itself.i asked The club members and most of them have this issue with 2012 and 2013 CFE premium model.i complainted to proton they can't sorry can't claim and they glue it back.but now it came out again. Better take your rim together with tyre to check for air leakage. Shouldn't go down so fast so much. But y your pressure so hiYeah, the front tires need maintenance every week.i pump 40 for all but the front one will drop to like 20-18..checked all the four tires also no hold, screw or anything.the rear ones will drop to 30-34 like that. |

QUOTE(OLT @ Feb 24 2015, 07:40 PM) May I ask how often your engine fan still spinning after switch off the engine? It spins when the engine is hot. Most likely after running in the engine for 2 months is not so 'tight' anymore thus less friction and heat.My EB about 2 months old, the fan usually still spinning after I switch off the engine even I drive for short distant. But now opposite thing happened, for the past week, the fan stop completely after I switch off the engine...is it normal after we drive it for about 2 months? |
