Been using the flip key for about 2 months+ now. Overall very good.

If you do plan to get it,  make sure you adjust the internal spring mechanism of the flip key to make it as "springy" as possible.

Also, apply some super glue to the screw holding the rear top cover piece in place. Apply it along the screw threading, then tighten the screw in. This prevents the spring mechanism from becoming loose after a few weeks of use smile.gif

YouDontKnowMyNameI think I figured out the 'tak tak tak' sound during low speed. It's from the front bonnet. I used 3M D-strips to weather seal my engine compartment, and now I don't hear it anymore. It's been 2 days, and I'll report back after observing longer.

Patiently waiting for they to announce this one (and hopefully in my preferred color). My Saga almost 11 years old now and I gotta get a new ride to cater for new needs.

I heard this will be the final facelift for Exora before the next generation is launched.

My ride is having a intermittent problem with the Aircon.
When I switch on the A/C (speed to 1 or 2) no response..... then I have to turn to max (4) to get it activated and after that all the speed will work fine.
All the 4 times it happened is after a Cold start.
I suspected the Filter and cleaned it but still the problem exits...
Anybody here faced the same problem?

There is a also an intermittent sound developing from the steering rod when I turn to one direction(like the old door opening sound). No issues with the alignment.
Need to show to SC when I go for the side mirror replacement.

Use the D-strip pictured to the left, and seal up inside top and bottom of engine bay.
It will cause the bonnet harder to close, but protects the engine bay from the elements.

It was COD, but expensive that time. Now LYN got seller, good price.
I'm using the small D, which need two strips. Perhaps if use the big D, one strip on top bonnet enough liao.
Agak 2~3 meter, RM6/meter... cheap DIY.

My 2.5 year old EB showed the ABS sign about 3 weeks back, the SC said the sensor no stock. Still waiting ...

Then the brake sign stays on after releasing handbrake, off on the engine, the brake light goes off, but the ABS sign stays on. No effect on braking ability.

Now, the red exclamation light comes on once in a while, and the accelarator pedal has no effect on the car movement. It is the little light under the left circle indicator. Isn't that the indicator for transmission fluid temperature? Off on the engine, the problem goes away.

What to do now?

Sigh ... Going to SC tomorrow ...

Hey bro,
I think I have the same problem with my EB.
1. Engine dies while reversing
2. Car has no response at transmission "D" & "R", red exclamation sign lits on the panel.

I brought to SC Meru, Bukit Tinggi but they said they r not
Equipped to check the issue. They only recommend Glenmarie n Pandamaran as they have the system to check n rectify. I brought it to Pandamaran SC and they informed tat it's common and the "computer chip need to be re-programmed". The next morning the problem is reoccurs. :-(
Any advice?

I was looking at the sticker on the driver side fuse compartment, there is a secondary box that says 'rear light'. Anyone knows where that fuse is actually located?

Hi all forumer,

I considering of buying this car (proton exora 1.6 cfe turbo) OR the new nissan grand livina.

May I know the exora is it good? is it better than Alza?

Please share your review especially the current owner of this exora.

I chose the Exora over the Alza, Avanza and Grand Livina. Simply because of the power, space and features (reverse cam etc).

Driving this machine for a little over a year now. So far I'm pretty happy with my decision. The turbo really puts a smile on your face smile.gif
