Most of the cars have this problem. At low speeds arnd 20-30kmh, can feel the jerking. Its a normal characteristic of the car.

New to this forum. Need help with one of the rear folding seats. I can't pull it up. This is the 2nd time it has happened. First time, I sent it to SC for repairs. Does anyone have this same recurring problem? Anything we can do without sending it to to SC?

when we press the pedal, the car will move slowly at first, then only it will run fast..it's the characteristics of our cvt gearbox right? is there any way we can make our car run fast the moment we press the pedal, like most of the car out there?

due to this, I'm always pretty nervous when trying to come out from roundabout etc.. sweat.gif

what did the SC do the 1st time? mine encountered the same problem, the SC changed something because he said something is broken, hence can't pull the seat up. now the problem isn't there anymore.. or could be just because it has been a while I tested the rear seat...

Unfortunately, I did not observe what he did the first time which was more than a year ago. I then left it in the folded position. Only tonight I tried it and couldn't be pulled up.

Yes, It's the characteristic of the wet-clutch in action.
Below 15km/h, it will slip alot to move the car first, then the moment it approaches 15km/h, the computer will fully engage the clutch. Its like driving a manual car; in manual you slip the clutch first in 1st gear. But in this CVT, it does that for you automatically.
Itdepends on how gentle or how hard you step the accelerator. The computer detects how gentle you press your accelerator.
The more gentle you press, the slower it fully engages the clutch.

So if you want to run from dead stop faster, Easy, press harder on the accelerator, and it will surge in front.

Did not encounter this.
Need to watch how they fix the problem.

Anyone switched to this tyre size? 215/45/17 ?
How's the FC? Slightly better than 205/55/16 ?

l3iTi215/45 R17 has diameter of 24.62, where the other has 24.88.
Comparison.

The 215 I think will have worse FC because of the width.

I just read some info from autoworld exora forum, someone switched to 215/45/17 n a lighter sport rim, able to compensate the fc loss.
Although the width is larger, diameter is smaller.

Further google, 205/55/16 vs 215/45/17, u will lose the comfort, easily feel the bump and feel more noise.
You want the look, you lose the comfort....haha....

Better keep at current size tongue.gif

if you choose the BOLD@turbo, bare in mind to managed your right foot how to behave. the power itself will spoil everything. i always speck to myself to calm down, but ended 'cocok' almost everybody. getting 10-11KM/L(highway}, is good enough for me. the worse part, always 'kene' speed trap. doh.gif

Replied your earlier post here:

For city driving it can vary from 10.6L - 12.3L/100km, depending on the driver's right foot and the petrol brand.
In km/l , thats 8.1km/l to 9.4km/l.
Highway driving can go as low as 8l/100km (12.5km/l)

Shell is the worst enemy for exora turbo. Thats why i got 8.1km/l  cry.gif
