when we press the pedal, the car will move slowly at first, then only it will run fast..it's the characteristics of our cvt gearbox right? is there any way we can make our car run fast the moment we press the pedal, like most of the car out there?
due to this, I'm always pretty nervous when trying to come out from roundabout etc.. |

QUOTE(sharba @ Dec 21 2014, 10:10 PM) New to this forum. Need help with one of the rear folding seats. I can't pull it up. This is the 2nd time it has happened. First time, I sent it to SC for repairs. Does anyone have this same recurring problem? Anything we can do without sending it to to SC? what did the SC do the 1st time? mine encountered the same problem, the SC changed something because he said something is broken, hence can't pull the seat up. now the problem isn't there anymore.. or could be just because it has been a while I tested the rear seat... |

Hi, I just changed the oil cooler hose at Proton SC Nilai, since my mileage is nearly 40k. I thought this replacement is for good, means don't need to bother it later, but the SC told me that this hose needs to be changed every 40k km instead... only this first time it's free, next have to pay....

Hi. My exora cfe is 4 years+ old now. recently I went for 52k service, and after that I realized that my turbo cooler/fan radiator (the one that usually will still berbunyi loud even after we've turned off our car engine) won't be turned on as often as previous anymore. previously, even when I drive for a few minutes, already can hear the turbo cooler/fan radiator works/berbunyi for a few seconds (or minutes) ate least... nowadays it will still work, but not as often as previous... that day I drove from bangi to selayang, and after I turn off the engine, the turbo cooler/fan radiator doesn't turn on.
I went to the proton service center again after that, telling them about this and they said this is just the setting and they've fixed that... but then it's still the same Should I be worried? Thanks! |

Guys just want to ask: suddenly today my 6 years old exora bold aircond isn't cold anymore. Went to my trusted mechanic but unfortunately he doesn't do aircond repair/service anymore. Anyway he take a look at my car and check the aircond gas level and checked the compressor - the compressor is working fine - and he said there's a leakage somewhere but not in the engine area since if the leakage is in the front, we should be able to see it.
So I asked him could the issue be with cooling coil and he said yes. So I googled some more and apparently exora uses 2 cooling coil (front & rear). Additionally there's a chance that it's the condenser. So instead of going to the mechanic to check whether the issue is with my front/rear cooling coil or condenser, I plan to purchase all this 3 first from shopee/lazada (any suggested shop?) and get another mechanic to install these for me. Obviously my reason of buying this 3 first by myself is because of cost reason. Any comments on my method here? Thanks |

Any recommendation for engine oil for my 10 years old exora bold? Latest one I use Petronas Syntium 800, but it's quite expensive. Any cheaper but still good eo to recommend?

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Nov 25 2024, 12:50 AM) I tried googling Mizu but couldn't find their office or whatever, so that makes me sceptical. Now I'm eyeing HIPRO engine oil as it seems to be legit and their fully synthetic oil price isn't that high either. |
