Hi guys,
I'm most likely going to put up my Dahon Vitesse 10 speed for sale, which can be modded to 20 speed by adding a FD and shifter, simple.
You will have to wait until July before I'm back in KL though... PM me if you are interested. This bike is currently under 10kgs. Unfortunately due to the components, it won't be under RM1k......

Im wondering if im the only one having this problem. My tern node's seatpost doesnt allow me to adjust the saddle tilt. The saddle clip/clamp thingy is rigid, so i cant adjust the angle like i can on other bikes. So fitting in a brooks saddle will give u a 2.5 degree front tilt. Any solution?

All seat post can adjust tilt, even those old fashion ones like those in C7s. you have to release quite a bit to loosen the circular latch which has notches. You have to loosen the holding bolt past this notches.

thanks! I stop looking dahon oledi smile.gif actually that guy just dont know or simply couldnt care less, with strings of email later, it was found out actually the rm800 is for old model dahon single speed adult boardwalk. he sent me 3 pics of bicycle each selling 800, 1400, 1800 and the vybe c7a is the 1400.

so I told him, oh now it made sense la, that actually the 800 is not for vybe c7a. so I told him that the advertisement he had was misleading and he just said ok thank you. lol.

I gonna check out the Samy shop you reccommend later this weekend.

Yeah lorr! Staying in terrace house, cannot use compressor . Using the 2 part paint is better. But this also one coat primer, , 2 coats colour and 2 coats clear.

That is a very nice colour. Why did you not powdercoat instead? Much stronger I would have thought? In any case that is much nicer than white. Pity it doesn't suit you. Some bikes are like that I guess, that's why we need lots of them! 😁

Powder coating will need me to send the bikes to the workshop and then comes back to me and I still have to do the clear coating as I have to protect the water slide decals. Might as well do everything myself. If done properly, it will last, just that it can't take hard sharp knocks. That's the original colour of the Dash X20 which has also stopped production already. I took back the bikes from the bike shop as it was lying there for the past 5 months.

It was a pity since the bike is nice. So took it back, rode up Fraser's Hill and then my wife suggested we keep the bikes. So, we can do a short ride to Genting Peras whenever there was not enough time to do off road mounting biking. We don't really fancy riding road with MTBs anyway. icon_rolleyes.gif

Nice paint job, etigge. Just wondering which bike shops or sifus around PJ does budget paint jobs? Thinking of restoring my oldie roadie.

Bike shops don't do painting jobs but there are a few powder coaters advertising in BBS. If bike shop does, they are already charging RM150 just to dis-assemble and assemble again. The one advertised in BBS charge RM250 just to powder coat the frames and if you want them to assemble, that's another RM50.
