yes, trinx bikes are quite solid for below rm1k prices, i'd say. would get trinx bikes but i'd invest more on my main interest (enduro motorcycling), hehe.

even if compare with Java and Raleigh that are below 1k? Trinx is better?

wht u need to look for is a foldie complete with mudguards + rear rack, since u want to use it for commuting.

trinxs is not bad, but so far hvnt seen one with makat + rack.

went to several bike shop to look see, currently kimbell jaya like nothing much there..
probably too good biz.. most bike sold out. ..
samy batu caves have more bikes n can get good bargain as well.

something like this u can get below 1k...
or u want lighter, get 16inch complete wit makat+rack

or u should check out the dahon bikes of member frankie chin - earlier post wana sell.

I guess it boils down to the spec and accessories u want/need. Also take note about different warranties of each brand.

Don't look low on the 16 inch. We had a ride an lady rode her 16 inch from Kampar to Sitiawan and back. That's 200 kilometers! The Brompton is also a 16 incher, just that it is classified as a 349mm as opposed to the smaller usual 305 mm. The MIT is a 16 incher. In Penang they like Jab, a 14 inch foldie bike as shown. Their usual playground is from Teluk Bahang to Balik Pulau on weekends.

Speed is all in the gearing, 16 and 20 inch can be cycled at the same speed/cycle.

yeah the lrt stairs will be really dreadful if the bike is heavy.

btw, just want to share with you guys, I found this ad yesterday which seems to good to be true, and contact the seller.

http://www.ez.com.my/listing24349.htm

the seller reply, rm800 including shipping from Sabah, which is quite unbelievable. But he said the shop is clearing stock and gave me shop address but no name,

"WE are at Sabindo plaza
Jalan Kee Abdullah 91000 Tawau"

and ask me do I know anybody in Tawau to verify for me. I don't btw, and he said if you scared go buy somewhere else... tongue.gif

he he...itchy to know, anybody from Tawau here?
