QUOTE(Eithanius @ Nov 17 2014, 09:26 PM) Don't be fool by the Standby Time of less than 10 hours... It's the Usage Time that counts. It's just that you use your phone more often in a day than some other people in 2 days... Somebody posted earlier that Usage Time is not equivalent to Screen On Time for Android, if I'm not mistaken. Would be good if it is, then I would say 5 hours more than adequate for me.Just like your car with your petrol tank. It can go up to 400km every tank, but if you drive it long distance every day (USAGE TIME), you end up using fuel much more FASTER than those market ladies who drive their cars short distance to market only (the rest being STANDBY TIME)... |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 17 2014, 09:22 PM) If your usage is exactly like mine, get this phone as secondary phone. No regret and you won't bother thinking to charge it all the time. Yeah looking into it now... I've been eyeing either the Xiaomi 1s/Note, Asus Zenphone... but now added the Honor 3c to the mix. I think the Zenphone is the cheapest among the lot. I usually dump my work SIM and Maxis SIM into the secondary phone when travelling and get a local data SIM for my main device... think that's pretty similar to what you described. Thanks for putting up that Android screenshot in the iPhone thread |

I know that, but depleting the battery with only 6hrs of usage time (and about 10hrs of total time) which isn't heavy is arguably not good. I wasn't doing any gaming but only normal messaging, web browsing, Facebook etc... Thanks for putting up that Android screenshot in the iPhone thread It's OK, sharing is caring. I only use dual SIM when I travel to overseas. In my previous trip, local SIM was slotted in the first slot and my corporate Celcom SIM was switched to secondary SIM with data switched off just to receive calls. I noticed the battery drains slightly faster when both slots are used up. Well, that time the local SIM was mainly used as hotspot to share out my connection for my other devices. Guys and girls currently I'm in a dilemma whether to get a 6 or a plus for my birthday present which falls on 3/12. I'm rather exposed to big phones as I have personally used a LG G3 For a week and played my friends note 3 and mi3. Right now I'm using a nexus 4 and I'm pretty bored with android no matter it is lollipop or what and this will be my first iPhone ever, well not a new iOS user though as I have iPad.im afraid that I will regret if I get the 6 and not the big one. And my current nexus 4 compared to the 6 is merely an upgrade in terms of size and screen resolution haha. Besides, is 16gb really enough for running iOS? Surprisingly 16gb on my nexus 4 holds up pretty well with 3-4gb free now. Actually I was waiting for the nexus 6 but somehow I kinda like the aluminum body of iPhone and decided for a change of flavor.

Actually I was waiting for the nexus 6 but somehow I kinda like the aluminum body of iPhone and decided for a change of flavor. My 2 year old iPhone 5 16GB now still has 7GB free (on iOS 8.1 and most apps updated for iOS 8.1).16GB will be enough if you don't download lots of HUGE games and movies. I have about 70 apps (the common ones like FB, messaging apps etc... and some casual games) and I transfer my camera pics and videos to the computer often. I got the iPhone 6 64GB last week, just for the peace of mind This post has been edited by hsyong: Nov 18 2014, 01:01 AM |

iOS 8.1.1 is out. Those who don't jailbreak go update now.
Performance improvements for iPad 2 and iPhone 4s is the main feature so people with those devices should take notice. This post has been edited by KaiHD: Nov 18 2014, 02:18 AM |
