6+ is too thin, but with a case, it fits perfectly. But without case, if you are not careless type, it's okay. But pretty subjective for everyone. I would say you will regret not getting 6+ after exposed with bigger size phones.

It's always typically people with a lot of calls usage and never used a bigger size phone will hold back going to 6+. 

1. i wont mind having a 3k++ phone as long as it last me for at least 3-5 years.
2. i wont mind having a big screen phone depending what i like, games + manga + comic + books....
3. you need 2 hands even you on ip6... because it just not good in your hand, except you got a case that fit nicely in your palm.

I tried with only normal browsing, whatsapp, social networking...... i got 11 hours of usage, standby time 1 day 16hours.

base on ur previous gadget. 6+ is ur choice... well, of cos you got choice  ( 6+ 64gb / 128GB )

if you need travel a lot better take 6+ as it can last u a day .

3k for me is expensive as well, but i will sign celcom contract. at least not so hurt.

i would say iphone6 is sufficient got ur usage which are similiar as the way i use my phone daily. it can last me one day from 8am till 9pm.

however the batt will drain faster if gps is running.

btw my illumination us set to 60% and most if the unused apps i set to off background refresh.

for me, iphone 6 battery is getting better and better from day to day.. since I'm too from Android, Note 2 to Mi3 to Ip6.. I guess it's a fair move..
still getting use to the size.. and the thickness.. for me I will recommend u to get ip6 than ip6+..

As for me, ip6+ is the way to go, especially I am coming from Android.
those using ip all this while will have culture shock if switch to 6+. For current android users, 6+ size will be right at home.
I have been using whole weekend without charging. 6+ battery goes on like an ipad. really impressive.
also consider the features only a 6+ has, Full HD, OIS hardware(takes better pic in low light), nearly double battery capacity compared to 6.
add rm400 more, u wont regret. Rather than buy 6, then whole year heart itching whether u should have gone with the top range. 
also consider the landscape extra features that it has(including landscape keyboard and extra rows), and ip6 don't.

i originally got a 6. it was good, but then i switched to 6 plus- although it's a tiny bit too big, i love it. battery life is amazing. and i love the pics I take. OIS does help, and it's noticeable to me.

besides if you get 6 plus, and you don't like it, there will always be someone wanting to buy it from you, since 6 plus is very rare now.

Is it just me or iPhone 6s 64GB is as rare as unicorn? nobody seems to have them in stock....sigh

You might need to adjust a bit going to smaller screen though if you take iPhone 6... 

My sentiments exactly on the Note 3 battery life... Previously I managed 4 hours of Screen On Time at least, and managed to even get 5 hours once. Now I'll be happy to hit 3

But based on all I've read I'm still leaning more toward iPhone 6 Plus rather than 6. Just that it's really expensive and I don't wanna regret it, so maybe wait for Apple to fix all the bugs while it is still unavailable, haha

which temper glass has the best fit for ip6+ that can cover even the side curve area  ?  early batch all leave some gap at the curve area.

"Background App Refresh" is to enable apps to refresh/update contents when it is in the background (not in use).

It's not related to notifications... if your Notifications setting is ON, you'll receive all your notifications (even if your messaging apps are not loaded).

Hey fruity,  thought you are jumping to note4,  if you are considering iphone and battery life is priority then 6+ is no brainer as you are used to big size phone.
If too thin and grip is a problem.  Snap a casing should make it better. Anyway you are used to note3 screen,  anything smaller is not really nice what

See? So many ask u get 6+. Since u coming from
Note series, it's a no brainier decision. Just get a thin grip casing like spigen neo hybrid and tie a short lanyard to ur hand through the casing will give u nice 1 hand operation.
Trust me la. I am from s4. Using i6+ a week now. No regrets with all the advantages.

Ala np. If 64gb I give u 4 working days to receive it as many has testify here.

Yeah looking into it now... I've been eyeing either the Xiaomi 1s/Note, Asus Zenphone... but now added the Honor 3c to the mix. I think the Zenphone is the cheapest among the lot. I usually dump my work SIM and Maxis SIM into the secondary phone when travelling and get a local data SIM for my main device... think that's pretty similar to what you described.
