QUOTE(sayasebuk @ Sep 22 2006, 10:01 AM) finally managed to get clear pictures of my turtles. maybe you guys will have a better idea of what im facing. picture 1 and 2 : 1st res (just contracted the sickness) picture 3 and 4 : 2nd res (already severe) QUOTE(sayasebuk @ Sep 22 2006, 10:12 AM) this is my malayan box turtle. do you guys notice anything suspicous that i should be concerned about? Both of them need to eat more protein based food like pellets. I suggest u feed them good pellets like Nutrafin Basix or Ocean Free's Turtle Pellets. Also dont forget to sun them whenever u can ok ? They will recover but it will take some time. I did that to mine last time on my Malayan Box and they are ok now.EDIT: found it in a drain next to my home last month QUOTE(titansulcata @ Sep 22 2006, 06:15 PM) just left anothe eighty-eight branch pju 1/3d Where's this shop located ? Buddy, your Box Turtle is fine but your RES is in pretty bad condition especially the one in the bottom picture. The white colour spots on its carapace is caused by fungus attack. It may never recover as far as i i know as it has already been quite serious. I suggest you separate them immediately. EDIT: found it in a drain next to my home last month Water is very important and basking spots are almost a must when in comes to turtles imho. Hope your turtle can cure though. Regards |
