hi, do you keep them indoors or outdoors?

if you keep them indoors and the res had become sizeable (2 years already), chances are you might find it hidden somewhere under table/chair.

however, if you keep them outdoors and it did escape, you're (willingly or not) contributing to the disruption of local ecosystem. period.

lol! poor thing tongue.gif try bonding with ur turtles... i wonder if anyone have successfully done that

my ex-terrapin was very tame and loves following me around. he also loves it when i scratch his back and never goes back into its shell even if i try to scare it rclxm9.gif was wondering whether it is common or unique, cuz i never heard anyone telling about this experience before. however my terrapin has escaped when it was boarding in a friend's house while i was studying away from Malaysia cry.gif cant be found again cry.gif

yup.. way cool, just have to be careful of the bites. Those two species (Orlitia borneensis and Alligator Snapper) are the world's largest freshwater turtles.

Just got an Indian star tortoise today... very inquisitive creature. I put it on my hands on the way back and it was walking around, looking around. Now it has to share vegetables with my guinea pig laugh.gif

Sorry to hear that. Next time when u sun bath them, dont do anything coz u might forget. Just spend 30 minutes with them, 30 minutes is not that long and we need fresh air too.

About the remaining star tortoise, it me be severely dehydrated. Try to soak it inside water and put a water bowl in case he/she wanted to drink.

Btw, what kind of tortoise you're looking for ? I try to help you and see if there's any that u are interested in. smile.gif

30 minutes of sun a day is enough for most reptiles....
