Just got an Indian star tortoise today... very inquisitive creature. I put it on my hands on the way back and it was walking around, looking around. Now it has to share vegetables with my guinea pig

My star tortoise doesn't seem to like water. Gave it a little shallow pan of water/pool for it but it doesn't seem too keen on going in. Wonder if it's alright?

I caught my star tortoise carrying bits of food away in its mouth to eat in its corner (It seems to monopolise the far right corner of the terrarium) lately, mainly the tomatoes

Oooh sorry about that, I'm still a bit n00b about feeding... although I do try to feed my star tortoise pellets too... at first it doesn't want to touch any but I'm slowly introducing him. Thanks for the reminder though
