Im not sure, but its better to avoid it. And all the feeding fish that i put died in less than 1 hour. my snapper looks sick too. My snapper are fully inside the water and the wood that i was mentioning is the tank cover.

i used to rear a softshell (not sure which type though..) a few years back. I rear it from small till really big...like a full adult size. I didn't use any kind of filter or anything. Just normal stagnant water...and it survived for a couple of years! that's the amazing part.

I also did that to all my turtles. Once a day is a must to ensure the water is clean. A bit tired doing it but it is fun.

QUOTE(EuJax @ Sep 16 2006, 10:08 PM) ekiddie, Well i guess its like what Uzairi said, different bloodline. They are around 3 years old. It is a Razorback no doubt on that. Anyway did you manage to find your Stinkpot? I think they stink on me this morning when i cleaned them Regards Nice turtle you got there! What do you call that? Razorback? How big does it get? Kamekame.

I dont recommend Impressed Tortoise for beginners though Not fun not fun... Burmese Brown Tortoise is also local species but they get pretty huge and of course Elongate Tortoise as you mentioned...apart from that...cant think of any that is native to Malaysia. Regards

speaking of labi-labi, now i recall that when i was small my dad has a very big labi-labi, i think it's is around 1 and half foot long, almost as big as a basin! the color is light brown color if i remember, no one dare to touch the labi-labi coz ppl say that when labi-labi bite they dun let go your hand but the labi-labi was kept in a very bad condition though, the water is very dirty and the smell is awful!

Start slowly first, then add 1 by 1 species to ur collection. I recommend u to get a leopard or sulcata first. As long as u have a place to put them when they're big.
