I know an owner that have the same problem as u.
In his case, MS didn't compensate, but the owner warn them if MS didn't clean up his unit and fix the piping before 7pm on the day it happen, he will request all the furniture to changed, so MS clean it up before 7pm the same day. MS tried to give a lot of excuse to not do it on the spot because it was already 5pm, but once the owner warn them they clean up straight away. So his furniture got soak only for 1 hour plus, everything is fine after cleaning.
In ur case, I think u need to push MS harder, threaten to take this to the court if needed. All units are still under defects liability period, if furniture faulty after this u need to ask them to replace all. About the tenant, I think that is between u and ur tenant and most probably MS won't be responsible for that, check ur tenancy agreement.
