you need to be worried that that is the first question you asked with your first CC. as advised above, that is a major pitfall. read the terms and conditions of cash advance properly if you are still interested with that.

Lol 1st question straight away ask about cash advance ! Yo need to go mbb branch to set up your pin then only can do cash advance.

Security matter because you can only perform cash advance at ANY ATM machine worldwide bearing the logo:

Cirrus for Mastercard
PLUS for Visa

There's ways to cash out your credit card without getting charged. Been doing this for the past 4 years.
Help people pay bills, sell groceries are the best method.
But if put the card to ATM to cash out, that's very bad

Have you requested to split limit assuming if you have existing Maybank cards?
If no, can try to appeal and request for little credit limit or wait for few months and re-apply again. Ideally 6 months but can be slightly lesser.

If it's cash back the OK but if it's cash advance...

yes i do have mbb2 cards...ive asked for split the limit...but the operator can't confirm. She said need to wait the official call or letter then can know why rejected

They won't/can't share with you the rejection reason. Just write to them to split limit.

If you want to maintain your mbb2cards limit, just request split RM 1k, then mbb will give you 1k ikhwan card but without split your mbb2cards limit.

I did that and another 1 cari forumer also success after refer my method.

For Petron station if we key in the amount we plan to fill it won't withhold rm200. It will just withhold the amount we keyed in.

Mine is different from yours, I split from my current limit one. Earlier asked for 3k to be split and approved, now wanna reduce to 2k.

It'll withhold RM 200 since it's from automatic dispenser.

Don't want to withhold, go swipe over the counter.

but since conventional and islamic are 2 different entity, what happen if they reduce it to 2k for your islamic cc but don't increase back ur conventional one?

btw, you must be spending quite a lot ya ... since ur conventional credit limit used to be 18k
