i just applied this card on 03/08/2015 through phone call and today i checked the card appear in my maybank2u 

this is my second time trying to get this card. I got rejected when i applied for this card on april this year.

this phone no. 03-5891 4777 , is it telesales ?    no need to submit the documents because i'm maybank account user
and i'm also don't have any maybank credit card

You can have both but Maybank Ikhwan has the tendency to reject their applicants.

Three ways to apply:
i) Apply as a new applicant - 50/50 chances
ii) Split or potong limit from MBB2Cards - 50/50 chances
iii) Conversion from MBB2Cards to Ikhwan - 99% chances

So, you can start from option 1 to 3 and see your luck.

I've applied this card 2 weeks ago through agent. Till date no response. 😅

my application is unsuccessful. I think it tooks 5 working days to process. Day 1 sent application thro email. reject letter date show day 5.

haha. my first application always rejected or unsuccessful. Maybank 2 cards apply for 3rd time only success.

It doesn't matter whether it's just gold or platinum, if it wants to reject you, it will.

RM 1k is too little, I have explained before why it's not feasible to go for RM 1k limit.
Go for slightly higher limit.

UOB One only give you 2% for grocery. Which is why I applied Ikhwan in the first place. Petrol already covered by Wise btw.

since i have failed on my application at 1U there.. then can i try at Maybank Gardens? then i still need to bring all those documents? FYI my application was at beginning of august 2015.

Nowadays platinum not so exclusive, classic is getting more exclusive.. Seems like hard to see the classic card in the market now...

if you really kiamsiap, should try rm25+rm5 la to fully maximise it. i did that at few bhp before when i pay inside.

if i pay at dispenser, i will do it rm30 then only go inside to claim the rm5.

i went to garden today.. and ask for split limit.. now cannot adi...
