1. Yes, worth for it.
2. Good, if they call to offer you because this card has a high possibility to be rejected. The Government Service Tax is not waived, it was abolished already to all cards effectively 1st April after Goods and Services Tax came effect. It is a free for life card, so nothing about annual fees.
3. Nope.
4. Nope. It only has 5% cash back for groceries and petrol on Fridays and Saturdays.

Thanks all for the reply,

What do you meant by " Good, if they call to offer you because this card has a high possibility to be rejected."?
If i have received the card but not activate yet, does it means that this card is not used and there will not be any statement to it?

I had once received a credit card from CIMB, even though i did not activate it, the statement came in with some charges (RM50 for the government charge i guess), called up and said it is not activated and not used and requested to cancel it, then receive again statement RM50 + RM 10 (for late payment penalty) on next statement, called up many times and finally the card/account is officially closed (which i had not activate or use) after around 6 months. This is what I don't like about receiving credit card without really applying it.

Good news for me.
New Ikhwan Gold card reflected in my m2u system.
After approximately 1 month of communicating via email with MBB, finally approved.

Sorry i deleted my email hence no timeline chronology

1st - Application rejected
2nd - Email MBB advice on alternative solution - Using existing credit limit + FD pledging (Rejected)
3rd - Email MBB and request split limit, explaining about my rejected applcation earlier on
4th - MBB emailed and request the amount to split (i request 2k)

Finally approved.

If they call to offer you, there is a possibility that your card will be approved comparing to you apply yourself. Ikhwan is a very unique card, it has really high tendency of rejecting applicants. smile.gif

Yes, no statement la.

As mentioned before, Government Service Tax has been abolished so no more RM 50 for you to worry about.

If you didn't apply for it and bank sends you one, then you can complain to BNM, they are not supposed to do it.

But if you agree to receive one and later don't' activate it, don't blame the bank.

been chatting with Sam's Groceria rep over FB about utility bill payment there...

1) Sam's accepts payment for Celcom, U Mobile, RedTone, Astro, and TM only.

As of now, we cannot pay for Maxis Postpaid bill, in Sam's Groceria, right?

I think someone has asked this before but I just couldn't find the Q&A... sweat.gif
1. Just to confirm, is Maybank Islamic considered as another institution compared to the conventional Maybank?
2. Take my case as an example, I own M2Cards and Ikhwan, does that mean I got these CC from 2 different issuers? Or it considered as from one issuer? hmm.gif

Hi guys,

Is this card come with the Touch n Go by default? I call up to apply, the staff did not mentioned anything about Touch n Go, and I also forgot to mention I do not need this to be included. doh.gif

Will they call us again before card approve or I shall call them again?

Upon paying my monthly installment, is it possible for me to make another installment exceeding rm4k considering the cl is released back to me?
