Keep for my own record first.
I will probably use this method as I'm just too lazy to walk in to do the necessary.

Once completed can collect from nearest branch.

Just drop at the MBB Card Centre Gardens to apply Ikhwan. The advisor told me its a new application, even I already have MBB 2Cards, hence I need to submit my pay slip. Is it true?

depends on branch.

I applied at KLCC without providing any docs. just printed epf statement using mykad, fill up form, that's it. sales agent even advised to split CL from m2card amex , which I gladly agreed biggrin.gif

3000. tested and confirmed.

just walk into a branch with card centre and ask for minimum (or bargain). if you can get lower than 3000, then i will reapply smile.gif

You use HL Essential for grocery? It still give you unlimited 1% rebate on anything except petrol. For me I used it for 2 years until I got Watami. wink.gif

Actually i never applied for the card. The card application come together with hl personal loan (which i never aware of in the 1st place).
So when my pl got approved, so did the card doh.gif (this according to their cs lah)

Just got my 1st statement with the card this month with usage of RM128 (itchy hand still want to swipe blush.gif )
Don't like seeing many cards in wallet, so with ikhwan mc coming in, i think better just discard this essential.

offtopic sekejap, if u don't mind, what's ur highest cb earned for the essential card in it's 2 years service? flex.gif

It is determined by MCC code assigned to each store. If it falls under groceries then it is grocery.
It is not determined by what you buy from that store.

I went to Gardens Maybank today. The guy told me cards applications will only be processed during working days. So, if I were to apply today, it can be only processed on next Tuesday.

In addition, I will have to apply as a new application and split limit is not an option now unless it's rejected, then they will split it.

In order to apply, will need to bring payslip or EPF statement and they don't have the EPF machine on the spot. Maybank MV has it by the way.

That's all for now. Since I didn't have anything with me today, will put on hold for a while.
