so basically.. poslaju is just a sticker like registered post? i went to the pos website but gosh.. they dun reli provide alot of info there.. so if i wrap up something thats about 2 feet long, i can ask for poslaju? ish.. all this while i thought poslaju was an envelope but turns out its pos express?
Yes, Poslaju is a like a form with sticker at the back. After you fill in, just give to the officer and he/she will paste for you. You don't need to do that yourself, they actually don't allow.

Correct, the envelopes thingy is Pos Ekspres.
The difference of Poslaju and Pos Ekspres is one requires recipient's signature (Poslaju) while one doesn't require (Pos Ekspres). The similarity is both takes about the same duration to reach. I never face any delay using them, but still some claimed Pos Ekspres is a little inefficient.

Poslaju has different rate, depends on the volumetric measurements and location while Pos Ekspres has same rate throughout whole Malaysia.
Hope this helps.
