Both also can but I think Poslaju is more reliable compared to Pos Ekspres though I have no problem with them yet so far.

By the way, these are the differences between Pos Ekspres and Poslaju:

1)-Pos Ekspres has ready made envelopes and boxes which the buyers must use them and the prices are same for the whole Malaysia, regardless Peninsular Malaysia or Sabah and Sarawak. The prices starts from RM 2.50, RM 3.00, RM 4.00.... You may check them out at your nearest post offices as the actual items are always displayed there with prices.
-Poslaju doesn't have ready made envelopes or boxes. So, you need to prepare yourselves with that. And price varies for West Malaysia and East Malaysia. For the first 500gm, within West Malaysia is RM 5.20 whereas from Peninsular Malaysia to Sarawak is RM 7.50 and to Sabah is RM 8.05.

2)-Pos Ekspres doesn't require signatures, so if nobody is around when the postman comes, he'll just leave your stuff in your mailbox. The difference between Pos Ekspress and normal post is Pos Ekspress-"Dijamin Sampai Esok."
-Poslaju requires signature from the recipients, so if nobody is around, the messenger will bring back the package and leave a notification card to you and required you to collect at the mentioned post office, else you can try to call them and they'll send again to you.

Thus, it's advisable to use Poslaju if the package is important and fragile. If your items are fragile, it's very hard to fit into the ready made envelopes and might break your items.

Hopefully, my explanation can help those are in doubt of the differences between Poslaju and Pos Ekspres.

i going to send my abit ip35e mobo from miri to kl for replament, which courier should i use? and how much?
( i'll be using the original box, wrap with brown paper, weight about 2kg, i think.

If nobody is around when the messenger come, do i need to collect my item at the poslaju branch or normal post office? As i never went to the poslaju branch near my area before, afraid getting lost when searching for it.

They will leave a red card to notify that you have missed it, they will state which post office you will need to go to collect it. So, just follow as what the red card stated.
On another hand, you can call and ask them to re-send for you again. Some of them will do it for you, while some would not.

Yes, it is. Find more reputable courier companies like GDex, FeDex, DHL, ABX, Skynet and etc.

Probably will get the card today, but the seller are using sure reach...

Anyone know where is the sure reach office in penang? How's the tracking number looks like?

Oh, if it's Sure Reach I'm not sure of the procedure. However, I've received parcel before from Sure Reach, very good service. They called me to enquire for my location and reached my house earlier as estimated.

GAH! I just sent some computer parts to sarawak from KL now almost 1 month already still haven't reached! Using posmalaysia...next time I'm gonne use others already...what kind of service is this. Hopefully the ship or airplane or whatever didn't karam, just typical malaysian delay la...hopefully..

And somemore claim that parcel missing dunno where....

My experience with SURE REACH Penang is the service very good. The messenger call me fews time to teach me how to go to their office. In the end, he came to Sunshine Square with his bike and bring me to the office, as I can't find their office
