btw,the min cost to study there around how much?like study..life fee..room fee or else..
anyone who have experience pls let me know thx ya~

I guess it depends. But roughly it is about RM 120K per year. It depends on the currency conversion as well. Just hope that Australia dollar will fall (unlikely) or hope Malaysia Ringgit will appreciate (impossible based on current situation)

I went to Sydney straight after SPM on January, luckily I wasnt chosen for NS (but even if ur chosen, u can just refuse)
Im in Sydney under own fundings but if u wanna get a study loan, u need to apply for it,
some of those I know took A lvls or AUSMAT. Maybe the others can help u out on this..
If ur under scholarship, u'll get around AUD1200 per month and its up to u to spend (rent, flight tix maybe, etc.)

My expenses last year (Foundation Year)
total course fee AUD18,000 but its now AUD22,000+
Accomodation AUD295 per week (all bills included) at Unilodge@UNSW
Monthly allowance AUD1600-1700 but it depends on each individual.

pretty pricey I guess  tongue.gif
Hope this helps u out a bit.

Is your monthly allowance inclusive of your rental? If yes then that amount is alright, otherwise no offence but I really can't think of any reason why one would need so much a month unless you are really loaded.

And no, I don't use blue for brown trips nor do i use concessions although I did thought about that before, but figured that it's not worth taking the risk after listening to some stories about it.

Probably suburbs? That price is average for off-campus accommodation at Clayton.

Urm, the place I was staying at was expensive and I think its now 320 per week.. unilodge
It has good security, automated locked doors, for EACH doors! the main, the doors in between blocks, the elevator, the apartment room, and own room (we use a card key like the hotels) and great facilities.
But so u know, I was forced to stay there (either there or homestay) because I was under 18 at that time..

I think rents in Sydney are pretty expensive and it keeps getting higher every yr unless ur staying with a bunch of people in a hse.
Its my first time trying to find a hse/apartment this year and my budget is AUD200 per week, bills excluded. Fair nuff I suppose seeing how hard it is to find a place near uni and I prefer having my own room sharing with another 2 max.
