I'm kinda lost here.. basically I'm offered to further my studies in UniSA and UniTas for Bachelor in Architecture. Both uni's offer me an advanced standing of one year from my local degree i got from some unknown college.. but I'm kinda confused.. what's the difference between these two uni's in terms of the way they teach and their teaching philosophy as well as other stuffs too..

Do enlighten me with ur experiences before making my decision for next Feb's intake..

i'm going adelaide next month on the 9th of Feb. Just got the word that my accommodation from the university was rejected because the places are full! Oh man ....
Lemonfish, i saw that site at Bradford Lodge, $160 not too bad and got cafeteria serving malay, chinese and india foods, probably a lot of malaysian there. Anyway 1st year better stay at hostel get some friends then moved out somewhere cheap.

Got Chemical Engineering, got in touch with them again and asked for Petroleum Engineering, so confirm doing Petroleum Engineering at Adelaide University.
1.5 GB i die la, sure can't download with 1.5 Gb probably enough for ' research surfing' sadly .....
What sicken me is that in certain hostel they have an agreement with 'certain' ISP, that could ripped your heart out. Anyway the most shocking check this out http://www.unitrans.com.au/i_fees.html, $250 for 3 GB and not even broadband speed! of course it was back in 2006 but still ........
Anyway i will do with 20 GB max. my hostel just emailed me said that my room got internet, and she said its unlimited internet, and she said its broadband =.= dunno why. she said i need RJ45 cable O.o any idea what is that.?

Sometimes it's not a good idea to buy them too early. In some of my courses, the lecturer will tell us that the textbook is not compulsory, which usually means you don't need it (and it won't be used). The lecturer may also change the textbook from that used in the previous session.
You can also purchase 2nd hand textbooks.
