Phone bill because I'm DiGi Ambassador plan, monthly bill around RM 36 only. sweat.gif
Electricity, TNB comes once every 2 months. sweat.gif
Sometimes only. Now I'm in KL. tongue.gif
Not permanently based in overseas, travelling on and off. laugh.gif
OK, maybe can achieve 10 swipes by splitting bills but every bill RM 50. sweat.gif

Really appreciate your tips but I think I can't achieve it. laugh.gif

RM50 x 10 swipes is a bit tough for your case.

unless you can consolidate other expenditures from your friends/family.

in my case, i got 2 postpaid plans is just RM28x2 per month. definitely not enough, but i could just overpay RM50 each account, at least can cover ~2 months bills. brows.gif

i also pay for my friend's mobile bills (from 3 telcos! shocking.gif): 1 from digi (RM23 only but get 10% rebate from me laugh.gif ), 1 from celcom (2xRM50) , 1 from umobile (1xRM50). all these, my friend just give me cash minus 10% rebate. win-win for both of us.

by doing so, i'm already hitting 5x RM50 liao for MOBILE category. next, PETROL category. i only hit 3x RM50 per month.

next up, GROCERY category. use my card for my whole household's groceries. can get at least 4x RM50 swipes per month. also I use it to reload TNG card (sometimes i purpose reload 4x RM50 or 2X RM100, depends on remaining count of RM50 swipes for the month).

by month's end, already 11x-12x RM50 swipe count.

if purely use for my own spending, definitely not enough to hit 10x RM50. but being semi-generous, i get "contributors" from other ppl's payments.

It's not a spam, it was a legitimate question in this topic as to why he repetitively calling the subject topic as stupid card. Perhaps he has some misunderstandings about this card and he can discuss about it in this thread.

he already has valid issues with this card and been lenghty debated.

feel free to report the specific posts if it warrant mods/staffs to intervene (nature of words used, although name calling wasnt directed to forumers here but to the card itself sweat.gif )

Yes, all his issues was debated and it was over. But the name calling to the card keep coming repetitively after the debate. Unless he has new issue with the card otherwise I don't think such behavior is appropriate in Finance, Business, Investment House forum.
As for the report button, It is only fair to give supersound a chance to explain his action before reporting.

it's being done consciously and on purpose. furthermore, such posts are technically off-topic since the "new name" doesnt mean it's HLB Wise, per se. it could be other cards too. laugh.gif

Enjoy while still can. We do not know when this 10% CB will last when the revision of interchange fees to 1% for credit and debit cards takes effect Jan 2, 2015.

QUOTE
The interchange fee is a fee paid by card acquirers to card issuers to cover the costs incurred in facilitating the transaction, and includes cost of authorisation, clearing and settlement, security measures and funding. Interchange fees form a significant proportion of the MDRs paid by merchant to acquirer.

QUOTE
“The range of impact is wide as it depends on the card portfolio of the bank. Some banks could see as high as a RM100 million squeeze on margins while others may see just a couple of hundred thousand ringgit impact,” says a consultant to banks, adding that those affected may likely reduce some of their loyalty programmes to cushion the impact

That's why it is called STUPID card.
You need to be stupid to make few transactions where you can did it once like shopping for groceries. Each time I have to choose less people time to buy my stuffs as I don't want to hog the queue for no reason. Even the cashier look at me in 1 kind only.

Looks like they are "upgrading" their online service and you won't able to use third party payment system.

What I can say is HLB didn't force you to get the rebate. You know the T&C and agreed with it for this wise card from 1st day. And you can ignore the rebate but you didnt because of the 10%. You can choose to pay one shot with your platinum/ infinity card/vvvip card like a king but you choose to split it and pay with wise. Did HLB force you to apply for the wise card? No right?
