QUOTE(tinarhian @ Dec 10 2015, 11:06 PM) Choose upgrade first, right on top on your 8.1 to have your pc recognized by microsoft server. You only have to do this once. After that, you can go to Recovery > Reset , which is the same as clean install. After that, when you go online, your pc will automically activate by itself no matter how many times you clean install. Change HDD also never mind, as long as motherboard stay. I'm using win 8.1 on a PC.. So upgrade should be ok.After that, you can go to Recovery > Reset , which is the same as clean install. After that, when you go online, your pc will automically activate by itself no matter how many times you clean install. Change HDD also never mind, as long as motherboard stay. But let say I want to use win 10 on my Macbook, is it possible? I have 2 win 8.1 licenses. |

On a serious note, 4GB is barely enough but I never have freezing issue with Windows 10 ever (or windows 7 or 8 for that matter). My guess probably you hard disk is about to fail ? Clean reinstall can halp but make sure all the bios are updated (if your laptop is old). |
