QUOTE(Charizard @ Aug 6 2015, 12:13 PM) Ya lo... regretted to factory reset it.. But that time my PC just couldn't log into desktop screen. Keep black screen after key in password. Got dulan so decided to format it... Was considering to sell it, so might as well clean all my data yes. if you created a system image (or a clone of your system drive) before upgrade, things will be much easier. patience is key. i have tested w10 since previews to make sure that all can function well before i upgrade. for my work machines, i decided to stay at w8.1. for machines at home, i upgraded them.

Just fresh installed my ASUS N550JK laptop with Windows 10, the windows update installed most of the drivers required automatically. When I went looking at ASUS support page, I saw some drivers available for download for Windows 10.
I see stuffs like BSMI certification, CB certification, BIOS EC firmware, and also BIOS Flash Utility. To be honest those things sounds alien to me, I'm wondering if installing those drivers are necessary?

QUOTE(zuhaili87 @ Aug 6 2015, 11:37 AM) Definitely backup bro! Cuz windows 10 is relatively new, it supports latest model hardware but not sure for older hardware, so to be safe just backup. Or just go to Asus website and see if your laptop driver for Windows 10 are already available for usage. Lol. Asus just released a few updates for win10 namely bios updates, security updates, but not audio driver , bluetooth driver, graphics driver and etc.

QUOTE(horns @ Aug 6 2015, 12:12 PM) yes. a clean installation doesn't mean your computer will get all the compatible drivers automatically. it also depends on how fast the manufacturers of your computer release compatible drivers to you. (apparently some manufacturers still cannot cope with this) to do this proactively, you can look up compatible drivers from the part manufacturers' websites. Look like after wait for so long for Window 10 upgrade... and we still need to wait for drivers update... Overall Window 10 have better interface compare to Window 8.1... Start Menu very matter to me...

the only major problem I have with windows 10 is ghost touch issue on my ultrabook, I hope its just a matter of software issue, cause whenever it happen, I disable touch screen on device manager, reboot, then touch screen will be fine again. Never got this problem on windows 8 before. I seriously hope its not hardware issue.
