QUOTE(shakku @ Aug 6 2015, 04:22 PM) I believe you guys have good intention, but no worry, I only D/L from verified/trusted uploader, I pretty sure the MD5 checksum are correct in order to make sure nothing modify inside the ISO. |

QUOTE(horns @ Aug 12 2015, 12:20 PM) oh. that's a terrible experience :/ Nope. I was clean install my "Win7 Home Premium" and activate with my Laptop OEM Key, and then do ISO Upgrade to "Win10 Home" and then do a "Reset PC" method. That is why I didn't think of roll back at all. hm i don't save passwords with os. i use keepass every time i access stuff across network. (they are random and long i don't wanna remember them haha) maybe i need to check this feature out also. you might wanna keep it for a bit, considering rollback is easier to restore everything back, including activation state of old os. |

QUOTE(horns @ Aug 12 2015, 02:22 PM) Cheers haha Dam, I have the same issues like you, Kill Eithernet and Wifi. Using latest Universal Driver Pack solution 15.7 version. Have to roll back to stock drivers that came with the Windows 10 only can function I had small issue just now with killer networking suite (driver pack for killer ethernet and wifi cards) The problem was the bandwidth control included and enabled to all adapters, even if the adapter is not their product (in my case a broadcom .ac adapter). This made the wifi adapter to malfunction. To solve this just open up the wifi adapter property, and uncheck killer bandwidth control in the list. Everything is back to normal after that. edit: the driver pack can be obtained from killernetworking.com. the version in question is 1.1.55.1534. there was no issue in previous versions. QUOTE(mix-chan @ Aug 12 2015, 03:29 PM) You are right, chrome is the king in browser with add on and cloud sync although it is huge RAM acquired. Advantage of Edge is just reading mode and making note easier. Chrome also can do it with plugin Well, Im a Chrome user as well and use across all platform like iPad, Android Phone, Windows Laptop or Desktop. But When come to Laptop if outdoor that didnt get access to wall charging, or want less hunger for battery life, I think is way better stick with Edge or Opera. This post has been edited by NightFelix: Aug 12 2015, 07:36 PM |

Upgrading a collegue of mine newly bought HP stream netbook alike with Windows 8.1 with Bing to Windows 10. Finger cross everything alright. Is powered by Intel Celeron with 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC, oh man, what on earth people now always still buy products based on the look and color as priority. Alright, enough of ranting, 12% progressing....

QUOTE(hyperyouth_firepower @ Aug 18 2015, 10:48 PM) anyways, i've downgraded back to 8.1 (its not 8). The day I signed up for Streamyx (Internet), the day I lost my privacy. The reason? too many privacy related issues. Sorry, but i'm not sorry, and i'm so angry to the point that the moment some stranger was talking how awesome win 10 was, i literally put up the middle finger to the guy and said 'f your privacy, and f you'. Then now I just found out that in the windows 7 and windows 8 updates, they are also installing these telemetry updates and all those stuffs that will spy on you like what windows 10 does. Now its a headache trying to figure which update is which and uninstalling them all (on windows 8.1) Until they really fix the OS, or until its proven that its secure and not privacy-intrusive, I refuse to be a product of Windows and sell off data without my permission (yes, data is also sent despite 'opting-out'.) |

QUOTE(Kaka23 @ Nov 19 2015, 09:58 AM) Why another one of my laptop is not updating to the latest version of Win 10. I tried to check for Updates for few days now, still nothing. I think sooner or later Windows users gonna like iOS / Android users ranting why my phone didn't get OTA. But my older laptop has already been updated! Weird!!! |

It just took me forever to activate my Windows 10 activation (which upgrade from Windows 7). Always "Windows can't activate. Try again later."
Guys, I was on Win10 (Build 10240). How to update to latest? I read some earlier, people said can activate my Win10 using my Win7/8 Keys? This post has been edited by NightFelix: Nov 27 2015, 06:58 PM |
