did u buy the loss of use or smth about the payout while under repair? if not then it wont be allowed...

encountered the similar and daily rate approved is 270 which is not enough to cover rental of the same class car.

i did not buy the CART. If u refer to the first page of this thread, you can claim as long as you have the rental car receipt.



my family is under TM and Allianz but this is claiming third party insurance so it has nothing to do with our own insurers. Usually Honda helped us claim loss of use + Rental car with receipt. Now i'm just afraid it's a different case since i am renting a 3 series/c class now.

i just completed insurance claim for recent accident from 3rd party. repair work done within less than a week. kudos p2 nilai!

and now i'm about to submit loss of use claim to 3rd party insurance and i noticed that the 3rd party insurance only approve rm30/day. dei, wanna rent a car nye pun cant cover the cost. so my questions are :
1. can we propose to the 3rd party for reasonable loss of use claim?
2. can the loss of use application via email?
3. some said that if we send the application via post they (3rd party suren) wont acknowledge it.

Will be sending my car to mazda after their adjuster decide on the repairs.
Repairs might take 7-14 days as need to spray a bit.

How do I go about claiming that duration which I don't get to use my car.
I got a spare car, just I wanna claim it cuz their repairs might not cover all the damage.

call the culprit insurance, ask them what doc they need. then write a letter to them, with supporting document.. usually the keputusan from pilice, police report, ur ic driving license and adjuster report if they did not have it.

theres other way. ask sarjan when can u make statutory declaration at pesuruh jaya sumpah - basically report that that cb hit ur car from the back but he didnt make police report.

then u go to jpj pay them rm10 i think to find out what is his insurance company.

then go to any workshop ask them if they do third party claim. if yes, ask them to repair and tell them the insurance company of that cb, give them everything - police report, keputusan from police, staturtory declaration etc.
