Yes, BT more than statement amount.

you may want to read my previous post.
In short, max my MBB CL for BT, then I overpaid to MBB for addtional CL more BT, and once its approved, I request to have that overpaid amount to be trasnfered back to CA/SA.

Lamode Ko,
When u said overpaid, u mean u paid mbb more than your statement amount to increase credit limit, then u do BT at MBB to Aeon more than Aeon's statement amount. Then how can u transfer overpaid amount from Aeon CC to Mbb SA?
I am like my brother above really confused of what you're doing. Can enlighten me a bit ah? Sorry a bit slow.... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

R u overpaying Mbb to increase credit limit? once credit limit increased, BT done, u request the overpaid amt to b transfered back toyour Mbb Sa?

if u already max out your MBB CL for BT, how much amount u need to pay MBB to get it overpaid?

let say my CL is 10k. my current BT with mbb have outstanding 9k which left 1k balance for me. should i pay more than 9k to mbb before do BT again? let say i pay 15k to get it overpaid 6k then do new BT and after BT success i request transfer overpaid 6k back to casa, is that what u mean?

1. Fill the BT form. Fax or email the form with your CIMB CC statement to them.

2. Yes. 0%

I have confirmed MBB allows overpaid credit to be used to BT, done the bolded part and approved.  rclxms.gif
13 NOV - emailed BT form and AEON statement to MBB @ mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my
13 NOV - Received human acknowledgement email
17 NOV - ONE TIME CHARGE
17 NOV - WAIVER appeared in M2U
18 NOV - Requested overpaid amount to be refunded to MBB SA.

Payment clear in AEON - Hopefully sometime this week.  notworthy.gif

Bro, need clarification from you.
There are two overpaid scenarios here, which one you were referring to ?

1) Your AEON statement bal is say 2k and you apply BT from MBB 5k, therefore you're AEON is overpaid by 3k. Then you ask AEON to refund to your MBB SA or before MBB pay AEON, you requested MBB refund the overpaid 3k to your SA?

2) Say your MBB CL is 10k and you have already BT 9K max. In order to BT again, you overpaid or rather prepaid your MBB account 9k then you BT another 9k again. But what is the benefit of this type of prepayment to BT again ? hmm.gif hmm.gif I count left, count right..... no benefit also. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

MBB refund is too haphazard.

my MBB statement was 5+k.
I did BT 5+k twice to 2 other banks, so MBB got paid 5+k x 2 - i asked for -refund of one of those 2 payments , RM5+k refunded to my MBB SA- done.

Then i use PBB BT to pay another RM7+k to MBB. I emailed in asking for refund of that 7+k. Next 2 days i made a call enquiring about that refund 7+k, the CS told me only got CR 5+k (must be RM7+k - current spends), and she said she will refund that 5+k.

Then next day i received 2 refunds same day, RM7+k and 5+k in my SA.
So MBB has actually over refunded. hope they are not going to charge me interest as in effect my that statement balance of 5+k was not paid at all, since paymnent has been refunded back, infact refund amount is more that that statement amount!.

1. i can't clarify it any cleaer, pls refer to my previous posts.
2. after the bold part got approved, withdraw the 9k and put into FD or other investment for interst la. rclxms.gif

interesting question... imagine the CL is 20k, 80% of it, which is 16k already used for BT, then i overpaid 10k, which makes the available limit as 14k, and i used 11k for another BT.

once both BT are approved and is MBB going to allow me to transfer the 10k overpaid back into SA/CA?  hmm.gif

For MBB BT, they won't create a dummy CC number like CIMB.

But if you use your money to over-pay/prepay your MBB credit card account to recover back your max-out credit line in order to apply additional BT again, aren't MBB will hold back your prepayment as a collateral against the additional BT loan ??
If MBB refund your prepayment, then the total BT loan will exceed 90% of your approved credit line. Isn't it against MBB's BT lending policy ??
