Don't worry..you can round UP as long u have sufficient CL. I had successful my BT for round UP. But now have LYN member who round nearest Ringgit success..I think that is better, as no better reason to overpay too much to other cc.
*
Yes, thats me. nod.gif Round-UP to the nearest RM, tranfered to my other cc already yesterday!!!

i always try to not overpay my AEON cards since earlier this year as this seems to be a "potential" cause for reject BT.

QUOTE(bee993 @ Oct 23 2014, 12:09 AM)
fully agreed and that might be the exact reason.

Yes, BT more than statement amount.

you may want to read my previous post.
In short, max my MBB CL for BT, then I overpaid to MBB for addtional CL more BT, and once its approved, I request to have that overpaid amount to be trasnfered back to CA/SA.
*
Lamode Ko,
When u said overpaid, u mean u paid mbb more than your statement amount to increase credit limit, then u do BT at MBB to Aeon more than Aeon's statement amount. Then how can u transfer overpaid amount from Aeon CC to Mbb SA?
I am like my brother above really confused of what you're doing. Can enlighten me a bit ah? Sorry a bit slow.... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

R u overpaying Mbb to increase credit limit? once credit limit increased, BT done, u request the overpaid amt to b transfered back toyour Mbb Sa?

BT for discipline people = free cash atm
BT for non-discipline people = black hole > more debt > bankruptcy...

if u do not keep track on ur financial standings, better don't BT.
Less than 5 BT still manageable, if have plenty of BT, u need to calculate properly how much u owe for each back, if not u will overspend ur future money and lead to financial crisis.
hahaha~~
*
Yah, totally agreed with cyang bro.
Make sure u hv the cash to pay the cc, but instead do bt and if park the money in home flexi account, can save bout rm40/mth for every rm10k BT-ed. Free $$$$$ !!! rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

If no discipline, its really a BLACK HOLE !!!! STAY AWAY from BT!!!!!! brows.gif brows.gif

I'm trying my luck to submit BT amounting 10k out of my 12k CL....see whether possible Aeon grants me ?
*
Bt amt is based on 80% of credit limit.
2 things u can do:-
(1) Reduce BT amount to rm9600
OR
(2) pay rm500 in advance to up ur limit to rm12500 so u can BT em10k

Cheers

Alright. biggrin.gif
I'm thinking to buy within these few months and it should be before I clear all with Aeon.
Just wanna make sure it won't affect. biggrin.gif

Having credit card outstanding will reduce your loan-ability amount. The bank wil take 5% of your total cc outstanding as "monthly installment"

For example, if you have rm10k BT outstanding, then your "monthly installment" wil b rm500,
then your house loan-ability amount will reduce by about rm100k. (assuming 30 yrs loan at 4.6% effective interest) sweat.gif

Ok, thanks for the enlightenment, this is the answer I was looking for. biggrin.gif

Another good thing to add is that for Aeon CC, ccris record do not show total cc outstanding, but only show current mth cc outstanding. So thats great. thumbup.gif

yea, my BT application to Aeon also got rejected.
Looks like we gotta wait for another 6 months, damn.

Mine os got rejected. cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif Sent in application yesterday. Got the sms today.
I am considering if RHB 6mths 1.2% worth it... (promo ending 31 Jan 2015)...
(Oso Cimb officer kept begging to take their personal loan @ 5% pa... Times ahead not so good perhaps...)

Just received call from Maybank CS regarding my BT. Thats weird, normally it will be approved right away after emailed application. This time they called asked me to confirm ic no, then read to me whole bunch of banking infos... sounds like the scam call i received from the fake Abb cs. Anyone received call from mbb cs regarding their bt?

Apply for Aeon BT 25 Feb 2015 thru email just trying out if lucky.
1st time thru email kos more convenient than sending to branch nearby my hse.
Boy, was surprise it took them 7 days to process. That is only after i call them up on 4 Mac. Maybe left out my email vmad.gif vmad.gif (I didnt receive any acknowledgement reply neither.) A day later i receive a sms saying its been rejected. I called Aeon CS earlier to confirm if the BT is still avail, they said YES !!! A waste of time !!! mad.gif mad.gif Why can't Aeon set out and inform public that now can only apply BT once every 6 mths or something(Like what LYN forumer shared)
