QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Feb 28 2017, 09:34 AM) Pretty sure that is done with a hefty overclock and probably with water cooling if not better solution. If Ryzen beat Kaby in single threaded with slight overclock we probably see AMD slide about that. Not sure but I'm pretty happy if it's not too far from Kabylake. 7700K does have higher stock speed, so it's interesting to see how's the single threaded performance of both on same frequency 7700k at 5.2 get 2.5k+ single threaded score. I'm aiming 1700 now since it's unlocked |

QUOTE(vanpersie91 @ Feb 28 2017, 11:11 AM) So far read news that one oversea vendor already dropped price, with rumors of Intel to slash price soon.QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ Feb 28 2017, 11:21 AM) No use buy amd laptop now. If you can, better wait untill ryzen based laptop is released. If you cannot wait, just buy normal Intel powered laptop. Hahaha true. My work laptop is AMD A10 pro processor, tend to lag from time to time. |

The Ryzen is a totally new architecture that you can't go based on your knowledge wan la. I spent the past days playing with it and while I can't give you numbers yet, what I can tell you that out of the box my Ryzen 7 1800X is almost the single core performance of the 7700K. I will post the benchmark process on my Youtube channel once NDA is lifted. |

Many cases already where they found playing dirty trick, I think EU got their eyes on Intel also and fine them gao gao. What I read, Intel earn so much money that those fine means little to them.even contacting tech reviewers to inform them about AMD Ryzen before they publish their review.. I been holding my upgrade from current i5 2500K ( slow till get on my nerve, eventhough it's OC ) till now, because I wasnt convince for all of it's successors. Few generation later now and we're still at quad core and performance gap still rather narrow |

I'm basing on all these leaks around the interwebs, i know it's unofficial but they do have some consistency on how Ryzen will perform. Does your 1800x operate over the rated Turbo clock speed? |

Not sure how much will cost for mounting of my WC QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Feb 28 2017, 01:36 PM) I thought all Ryzen chip is unlocked? I'm aiming at 1700 or 1600x currently. Sorry, I was meant to say since it's unlocked, I could opt for cheapest 1700, no need pay extra for X version Ryzen rated clock speed should be achievable with good air cooler imo. Normal ma, trying to keep my expectation down. I'm basing on all these leaks around the interwebs, i know it's unofficial but they do have some consistency on how Ryzen will perform. Does your 1800x operate over the rated Turbo clock speed? 1800X should able to go beyond 100-200Mhz due to XFR ( some reads from website/reddit ), I was hoping much higher |
