how to convince TM to switch my IP from private to public?

Without public IP, certain work function with my US colleague unable to carry out, as the connection unable to establish.

It's annoying i always need to tether my mobile data Maxis (which is public IP) just for the sake of get the work done.

It's like subscribe to Streamyx but unable to utilize it for work purpose!

Just tell them u need public IP for ur work, many have tried the request and successfully get back public IP.

Yes, bt I still did not happy for their plan, compulsory to absorb the free call landline (which we eventually won't use one).

Somemore too shit unifi lite did not have set up box. Speechless..

Don't think so. The package was created for specified locations (not for urban) and for low-income household only.

I chat with tm yesterday. it can be done. maybe because this is not a NEW application which requires strict check. this one only change to new owner

I am one of them but so far happy changed to unifi lite... with streamyx 4mbps... YouTube HD streaming is not smooth... and for my work needs... especially conf call and sharing desktop screen... streamyx upload totally cannot ...

It is a totally new awesome experience for me after changing to unifi lite... add rm40... you get more than 2x speed and lots of improvement on upload speed....

Can transfer address but cannot transfer ownership... I tried before last time unless they change the rule ...

Unifi lite is 10MB right?

Been using 4MB for some years while waiting for unifi coverage. Until now nothing, even Lite also don't have. Finally decide to take 8MB package, currently have promo RM140. So I'm paying additional RM11 for lesser 2MB. The discount RM20 is until 30th June, after that new registration go back to normal price of RM160.

You don't need Unifi infra (FTTH) to get Unifi Lite. You will migrate from ADSL2 (Streamyx) to VDSL2 (Unifi Lite 10/20) soon if your area is under HSBB2/SUBB. You enjoy free calls to TM numbers and HyppTV box, which Unifi Lite RM129 users don't.

UniFi Lite is 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload. Since u already taken the discounted 8Mbps package just wait until contract ends, hopefully ur area has UniFi coverage by the time

Still can upgrade to Unifi Lite at RM149 without paying penalty.

I checked with TM and agent, both say my place don't have unifi lite. 8MB streamyx TM say also free call to TM number. If in the future when unifi is available I can change without penalty.

As I said we home broadband user is beggar which cannot be choosy. I also prefer to get Unifi but too bad till now don't have. So I think getting less 2MB for expensive by RM11 is still better than stuck at 4MB, better than after June the price goes up back to RM160. But consider I'm still lucky can get 8MB, another guy was there and his taman nearby my taman, he want to upgrade but was told there max is what he's using which is 1MB

The staff told me when my place have Unifi coverage I can change it without penalty.
