Hi all, did you all using the Riger DB120WL and Innacomm W7100N?

Previous using the Riger 120WL brand, but very damn lousy as the Wi-Fi connection suddenly lost and then few minutes found lagi. And sometimes Wi-Fi successful connected, but cannot access to the Internet. Keep restart the modem until the switch on and off button rosak.. shakehead.gif

I request technical and change the new modem Innacomm W7100N. Did you all guy experience same issues Wi-Fi connection lost and found again same as Riger brand? unsure.gif

Yup, but my one still under warranty plus still under contract. Previously TM supply the D-Link modem, is DSL-2640B or DSL-2730B if I m not wrong. Furthermore, they previously supply Innacomm W3400 also quite good and fast. But wanna to buy, rather tell TM Technical buy for me and claim the modem from TM la~~ whistling.gif Otherwise, I pay so "expensive" package just for "donation" to TM? whistling.gif

Currently what I heard TM only supply stupid lousy brand and Innacomm brand. Don't know why TM supply this lousy brand? doh.gif Because of cheap?? shakehead.gif

My concern is as long as can connect Internet through Wi-Fi 24 hours and at least achieve what I get the internet speed package, I'm satisfaction already.

Yes, I got saw this thread before.
Currently still under warranty for the modem, I did not try to do so as will void warranty.

However after flash this firmware, all the program system change and become inverse way. Feel a bit unacceptable.. sweat.gif LOL...

Previously, I have some problem for TM Fixed line. When I pick up the phone, the error voice louder "duuuu..." sound (seems like error sound) because I press any dial number cannot outgoing call.. ADSL internet connection pretty good.

Contact to TM 100.. The next day, TM technical teams checked the outside port (TM box).

After I went back home (around 7pm), when I turn on the modem, no ADSL light (of course no Internet light). When I pick up the Fixed line, more ridiculous bangwall.gif .. No dial tone at all. Borrow from my friend replace TM Fixed Line and modem no hope at all.. Direct connections from TM port (without spliter) no hope at all. It means that it is not my modem and fixed line problem.

Call again to TM 100 follow up closely regarding this problem. This useless TM call center just create the report and pass message information to the TM Technical teams (In simple word, they just do for documentation report only). Besides, they say that there will be ONE TIME charges because suspect of cable problems. Wat the hell have one TIME Charges???!!! mad.gif

After the next day, TM Technical (Contractor) call me through mobile phone. They say they already check outside port, already connected. (But I'm not sure they really true or not already check for it la~) But I told them that my (Fixed line + Broadband) here still did not connected.

TM Technical comes to my house, just see see the modem and fixed line. Tell me that there is a problem of internal wiring (faulty), charge me RM150 shocking.gif (This wiring I can pasang UniFi already) vmad.gif
Nego with TM Technical, still exceed RM 100++, but I say that I'm still student max can pay RM70..

This TM Technical straight away "Oh, then never mind la. Once you achieve the amount, then you call lagi TM 100 to request us new wiring for your streamyx". (They can balik without solve the problem). But I still need to pay monthly for TM Streamyx.

However end up I no choice, I pay the RM150 internal wiring to TM technical because I don't have internet connections within 4 days already. If delay some-more without internet connections, I still cannot do my Uni assignment report.

Once everything new cable wiring, very fast TM Technical settle the problem. After that, I receive SMS from TM about the feedback form after TM Technical settle the problem. I terus comment and shit up the internal wiring can cost more than RM100+ (I can pasang the Unifi already, but no budget to pasang).

This TM teams quite efficiency, contact me for the problem why I give them "0" rating to them. I mentioned to them more than 3 times this internal wiring should NOT be exceed RM100++ (Take note my package is STreamyx, NOT UniFI). How comes charge me so high??!! ranting.gif

Since I already pay off this amount, my expectation is much more higher than before. "If my internet connections down within 20 minutes, I call your TM Technical and crawl to my house settle SHIT problem". Pls DO NOT Delay everything unless TM provide compensation for this monthly bill.

And until now, I still receive from TM message.

"RM0.00 TM is performing planned maintenance for your service (006231XXXX). The expected resolution is 11/11/2016 06:30PM. Tq for patience." shakehead.gif

In simple word, TM is really PROFESSIONAL to create the report, but PROBLEM to settle the issues.


I just share the experience what I done last week. Really frustrated for their service. I always though TM is keep improving already, but end up they treat to me like SHIT. mad.gif


What is your opinion? Voice up and share your suggestions to prevent same problem like this again. doh.gif

After you change the new cable, still like this.. Then MUST be problem for TM side already.
However, you might experience TM will say that "We suspect there is a faulty for your internal wiring".

Take note NOT been cheat from them... whistling.gif

Hoho.. If need to do re-wiring, then must get to know the cost already. This consider internal wiring faulty issues. Some TM technical are friendly charge you reasonable price (depend your luck), but some technical wanna earn big big profit, charge very ridiculous price. Unless you hv lobang to find external technical for service wiring purposes (not TM technical).

What I see at yours there..
Previously Streamyx 1mbps, that is legacy plan already.. (If I'm not forget that is student package)
Now Streamyx 4 mbps, that is normal Streamyx package like Blockbuster deal (Free Unlimited call to TM Fixed Line)

If you upgrade to 8mbps, then you need to consider do you need so high high speed?
Bcoz if you use 8mbps, I suggest u go for Unifi (If your coverage is available).

The Streamyx 8mbps is not stable one, sometimes fast sometimes slow.. Depend it's peak hours or not..

Last time TM got call me to upgrade Unifi from my Streamyx package legacy plan (1mbps), but I refuse for upgrade.. Unless they can offer Unifi VIP 5 RM 100 (That is also Unifi legacy plan already, no more available).

If they can make it, please go on.. thumbup.gif

I don't think so 4mbps RM58, if RM 88 then I can believe. This is because I currently still using student package. laugh.gif
Since your 4mbps experience frequently slow down, then no point you upgrade 8mbps... It's waste for your monthly payment (unless you willing to donate to TM... sweat.gif )

May I know you live how many years already? This is because if your residential is old one, then the Unifi should be available soon. However if your residential still new, then just slowly wait at least 3 or 4 years Unifi will soon available.

Since TM is monopoly and the ONLY network in Malaysia provide UNLIMITED data (except Webe), TM impossible will free upgrade to you for your streamyx, no matter how your payment pretty good over a year. So if TM free upgrade to you, I think you still dreaming. So pls wake up to face the real realistic world. mega_shok.gif

Suggest not need to do any upgrade for Streamyx anything unless Unifi available (then different story)

Since you say yours is a kampung area, I think need to wait more than 5 or 6 years Unifi available. Some-more TM will only install the Unifi cable once reach the demand quota from the customer list... (e.g 20 people wanna to apply Unifi in your kampung area compare 200 people wanna to apply Unifi in other area). Of course, TM will install fiber cable 1st on 200 people.. laugh.gif

Anyway not need to so angry one, just inform them if your Unifi is available coverage, pls feel free to call you.
If for Streamyx upgrade with additional cost, sorry my monthly payment max can afford this current amount.. But if any free upgrade the speed of Streamyx (NO cost), you can call me anytime... midnight 3am call me no problem one...

Ini memang tipu la can support 10mbps. If you tell me Streamyx can support 10mbps, then they must talk bull-shxx.

Try to find old residential area (not kampung type) and NOT new residential area, sure have Unifi coverage. Unless your state population people langsung less people, then it's totally speechless. ohmy.gif

At least the download n upload speed is parallel.. Normally I use upload to upload files through cloud server..

It is all depends sometimes unifi also not stable. P.S, You stay in Malaysia, nothing is stable one, unless u use ur own satellite broadband. Haha..

They still will call you one to upgrade to 8mbps no matter u dun pick their call..

It's almost like Assteruk (ASXXX), really unprofessional manner scam us the wiring / service charge amount when they visit to your places. shakehead.gif

In the future, you won't be surprise TM will implement just like Assteruk that any technical service walk-in to your place kena charge the amount whenever it is faulty of your modem/fixed line or faulty outside the TM box port. doh.gif

If TM still unable to resolve, then TM will give stupid reason to you that we suspect is your internal wiring faulty issues...
So TM technical will come to your place change whole TM wiring include outside your house TM wiring, lagi charge you RM100++ (almost you can install Unifi already bruce.gif )..

The screenshot is mine.
But I share out in here to let those expert to check whether my internet connections stable or not.

This is because this few day when I watch youtube, it seems like frequently buffering and I already set to 360P still buffering. Previously 360P won't buffer at all, unless I set to 480P slightly buffer a bit..
