I just terminated my 4Mbps Streamyx last month because Unifi is offering free speed upgrade to 50Mbps.

just done my live chat with TM....they told me the free speed upgrade is only entitle for certain customer due to technical limitation....if customer received the sms doesn't mean they will get the free upgrade...she said customer need to walk in to TM point to check with their technical team about the free upgrade availability on our area....

Dafuq?? Free upgrade from rm140 -> rm229 package??

Haha, not free upgrade to unifi. I mean register for Unifi, free upgrade from 30Mbps to 50Mbps.

If called for TM technician due to external cabling/plug problems,
are we liable to pay RM53 also???

Hi Everyone! Do anyone here know how to setup iptv?
Im search & got a iptv link and using VLC player to view the channel, but it only show few second the video and stuck.. When i see a my download chart, it seems like the download drop few second then it back up again..
Do TM block iptv download?
Do any you guys ever experience using iptv or some android box come with iptv login?

TM just upgraded me from 1.0 to 4.0....why the download speed after activation just 278 KB/s??? pre activation..460KB/s..

mayb they haven't cap your acc or port to 4mb.

Yes it's like MyIPTV or TM's HyppTV..
But mine using a link i got from Google search, it got a lot of channels from international tv station it's like satellite tv but it only using Internet..

check your modem status, if 4mbps package should be 5120, if its still the same 1024, then you should call them up, happened to me a few days ago, miscapped

anything that is their fault, they settle.

my streamyx had same issue...lost internet for 5 days...dunno what stupid noob tech worked on the wiring before that but they forgot to connect back the internet line at the junction box...phone line working fine.

they also took their own sweet time, so on the 4th day i made report to mcmc...next day straight away tech called and come fix.

Its free stuff and its normal to get stuck a lot due to server overload

so far anyone chatted with TM CS in regards of free upgrade in 2017 for streamyx users?
told em that I received TQ surprise SMS in Dec'16 and they confirmed eligibility for upgrade, but when asked for further details they being vague and ask to go nearest TM point to try apply free upgrade instead.

Will try do so in weekend but it's highly unlikely tho...

This chart has been floating around.

Streamyx upgrade will be to VIP10 package (provided your area has Unifi coverage) on a voluntary basis.
If your area has no Unifi coverage, I am not sure what will happen. Probably stay put in Streamyx.

What kind of upgrade is that. If I have unifi in my area, I won't be using streamyx in the first place.

Some old folks still very complacent with their Streamyx 1MB package.
