I used to subscribe for 4mbps streamyx in this rental house but about less than 6 months ago I cancelled subscription because I move to my own house. Over there I subscribe using my wife name.

Now I want to relocate this 4mbps under my wife name to our old rental house but TM people say that house only support 1mbps. How is this possible? How could a house that less than 6 months ago can use 4mbps now can only support 1mbps?

Is there an explanation for this or TM just want to force Unifi to me?

they must have the records and everything in their big company computer. is it possible that of all the port allocated in one areas, the port are divided into groups of  1mbps, 2mbps, 4mbps, 8mbps. if the port quota for 4mbps is full they can't offer more of that specific speed hence they can only offer for much lower speed. have you ever heard that kind of thing? i don't really know how this port works.

rumour has it that TM will rebrand Streamyx as UniFi Lite with speed of 5-10Mbps.

means kampung areas will get UniFi lite 5-10Mbps.

and town areas will have UniFi 30Mbps & 50Mbps.

so far anyone chatted with TM CS in regards of free upgrade in 2017 for streamyx users?
told em that I received TQ surprise SMS in Dec'16 and they confirmed eligibility for upgrade, but when asked for further details they being vague and ask to go nearest TM point to try apply free upgrade instead.

Will try do so in weekend but it's highly unlikely tho...

What kind of upgrade is that. If I have unifi in my area, I won't be using streamyx in the first place.

so my 2mbps steamyx is going to be upgraded to unifi10 for same price?

My area here has Unifi coverage, but currently I'm holding old school streamyx account 1mbps (Jom jimat hebat 68).

Is it consider "voluntary" upgrade to unifi 10?
If the price same as this Streamyx, I will upgrade to unifi 10. At least more faster can use already..
If provide offer price less than 100 monthly, it is no harm for it.. hehe..

I scare this RM149 with free calls but without Hyytv channels.. If have few channels, it's benefit for me so that can let family people watch few channels.

However if this RM149 without channels, then pls don't discuss everything about the Unifi offer.
