Maybe yes, maybe not. Even if it does, will may only be temporary.

To be safe, I should keep my JB-512k-rm60-streamyx package (vs rm48-voice-only) and apply for the Melaka-4M-rm88-streamyx, so both side can use the fastspeed 4M-streamyx but only one-at-a-time. Is this workable?

Yes, but by default the port is capped at 2Mbps only unless you have higher speed subsription. Therefore if you bring you Melaka account there, your speed will be capped at 2Mb, even if your account is capped at 4Mb.

TQVM, so that is the solution to minimize cost.

Guys, I need your expert opinion on this.

I'm on Streamyx 4mbps plan and TM gave me Riger DB 108-WL modem router.
I'm planning to buy a replacement for it but in dilemma whether want buy a modem router or just wireless router.
Let me know your opinion and if possible suggest me the brand and model as well.

Thanks heaps! biggrin.gif

Wireless Router is more flexible since you can use it if you upgrade to Unifi but it require your TM modem as ADSL bridge.

Depends on your budget, TP-LINK 1043ND is a good choice.

In terms of performance, is it better to have separate wireless router as well?

Budget is not a prob to me.

Since budget is not a problem, get the best Asus model, AC87U or AC68U

Normally separated wireless router perform better wink.gif

Even budget not a problem, those Asus models are way overboard la tongue.gif

Considering it's only 4M Streamyx. Even 8M Streamyx not worth it.

Unless you have 1Gbps FTTH at home, probably you get to make full use of the added WiFi connection speeds?

I upgraded from Streamyx 4Mbps to Unifi VIP5 with no problems at all. Very smooth transition.

Don't worry. smile.gif

Read first page, can you log in to MyTM and change password?

Could be their DSLAM faulty as well, request a technician.
