The one u see in brochure is microsoft rt surface (stock very very limited)
If finish stock, u get other *cap Ayam brand china brand* tablet (design same, spec not same, os same)

demmit.. i install yesterday. todal call, they say surface rt stock out.
told me expect to recieve end of december. i hope dun get those china cap ayam one..

btw, can differentiate surface rt and those cap ayam china one?

See spec inside the device and look up official rt spec and compare

oh.. physical check kenot ar? thinking of not accepting a china one when they deliver to me , demand a real surface rt. but considering the time of delivery, obviously i am at work. sigh....

The chance u will lose is very big unless t&c specifically says is rt. While stock lasts. Anyway good luck on demanding

my package clearly stated Streamyx bla2 with Microsoft Surface RT. But, i dunno if they already write something like "TM have any right to replace yada2 with yada2..." at TnC. Wadafak forgot check dat.

You know why they still retain 1M and 2M packages?

That's because they still have many rusted copper lines around laid directly between the old long tube boxes and their exchanges which can't even deliver 4Mbps well.

Those who cannot stand to lose out because 2M and 4M only difference by RM5...

It's over 10 years already Streamyx came to existence, but till today even in major cities those old tube boxes many are not replaced yet with remote terminals(RT) to handle 24M ADSL2+ lines when ADSL equipments today are already almost obsolete with VDSL2+ and G.Fast already out.

WTF is TM thinking? Continue to use ADSL for another decade? Even Laos already selling 100mbps internet plans today(although expensive) catered through direct fibre.

This is what happen when there's only one company to provide wired internet. No competition, so they can charge whateva they think. I mean, look. 1MBps at RM110? Worst, look at standard package. 1MBps at RM88(without modem).
While I feel kinda happy that can save alot with this package subscription, I feel sorry to old user that continue to pay at old rate. C'mon, they support u all longer than new user. Why the heck they nid to pay more? Why the heck those ppl kenot register with those so-called streamyx with tablet? I kenot brain..

i just got my my streamyx line, but keep facing disconnection, when the adsl line sync as below stat, i call up tm to report.

after call up tm, it sync

any one got any idea why? very tiring to call 100 everyday just to get a stable internet

They can't click a few button on the system to fix your bad SNR.

Check your connection, filter and any other telephone unfiltered

hi im using streamyx 4mbps but whenever i use utorrent my speed at first can go to peak and then it will gradualy slows down until like below 10kbps and it stays... is there any fix for this?
