Guys, it is reasonable to request a bill deduction for the service we don't get right ?

I am facing nearly half month downtime, but I still need to pay full amount.

What do we call for that ? bill deduction ? rebate ?

You can request for rebate since there's a service disruption.

Update on my streamyx with tablet application:

Just installed my streamyx 4Mbps today. Quick n hassle free. However, the application process itself took 2 weeks. I applied on the 29th and got it installed today.

Thus it is proven that the package is not only for Northern region states but for certain areas that TM deems as 'low-cost housing areas'

Glad my place didnt have Unifi. Only have to pay rm88 for this mthly

Jb bro. The tm salesperson told me this is available nationwide but have to see whether ur taman or kampung or jalan is within promo area or not. I went to TMpoint to check whether my area is eligible or not and he showed me a list of districts and promo area in Johor.

Guys, I have a question. Whoever here is using streamyx 4mb?

I tested my download and upload speed and it is showing

Download 3438 kbps
Upload 425 kbps

Is it the same as you guys? Won't it go near to 4mbps since I subscribe 4mbps?

TM Streamyx FAQ said that their service is as 'best effort' and it supposed to be above 80% of the subscribed speed.
Since it's the 4mbps package.. the minimum speed should be around 3.2mbps++.

I wonder if u still can slow-talk to TM and discuss about this...

Got a suggestion to those FED up customers of TM paying expensive prices for years now.

Start of 2015, if you want to boycott this company, start terminating your fixed lines one by one.

Only with some pressure, this monopoly company will wake up and start offering competitive pricing once again to lure everyone back.

It's been over 10 years now. No speed upgrades, no price lowering. They are taking us for granted because their heads are up high in the air thinking that people can't live without their service.

Please show them that WE Malaysians CAN live without them.
