I got this erratic connection. The cutoff is not very long, probably about 5 sec or less then reconnects. Got annoyed when listening to online radio as it periodically "buffering". FB also lost connection for a few secs. Anyone facing this erratic connection problem?

How about 1080p?

1.5mbps download speed enough for 720p, 3mbps enough for 1080p.

last time i use streamyx 1mbps i did try 720p but still buffer and long time
my 4mbps i did try 720p no buffer still smooth and i did try 1080p still buffer and long time
1080p not enough 4mbps
need UNIFI

Check your splitter first.

Then check your telephone line connection.

The last one to check is your modem.

Had it for years on 1mbps, fed up downgrade to 512K oso same, then kanot tahan keep complaining thru email .
the tech that came said it was my house wiring problem, bla bla, ding dong ding dong. Then I climbed up roof disconnect and pull down incoming telephone cable with the modem outside my house oso same.

finally tm HQ helpdesk asked them to change my port(dslam) to nearer to my house. problem solved, upgraded to 4mbps. happy ever after.

Now SNR >30db liao.

tq for the tips my snr is the problem..but my attenuation perfect less than 20 i suspect wiring problem

then do what I did, connect incoming direct to ur modem with a short cable to find out. just dun fall down when climb up high..

If no problem with the connection... 1080 also no problem... (sorry for the blank video... I print screen )

problem solve..rewiring snr constant like normal

I use Digi 2.8Mbps can watch Youtube and PPTV 1080P smoothly, never buffer.
I think it's Streamyx problem, need to consider liao before going to 4Mbps RM88
