QUOTE(radiancephil @ Dec 3 2015, 01:49 PM) Can't remember correctly...but I think it's around RM30-ish for a piece (maybe RM45 at the most...) ....but that was a few of years back when they first brought the cloths in. Bought a few so would last me for a while before getting them again. Still have one unopened cuz seemed like it's quite durable too. Lasted around a year before I opened a new one. And even then, it didn't really deteriorate to the point of non-usable. I opened a new one just because I re-did my car so brand new drying cloth is a must everytime I do that (FYI I wash my car, two of them, *almost* every weekend). Shoot them an email...they should be able to give you the latest price.QUOTE(frozen7 @ Dec 3 2015, 03:06 PM) Thanks bro. I never did like chamois. Have a few from various brands, including the ones from Autoglym, Meguiars and Sonax. Not comfortable using them. Also have quite a few waffle weaves from various brands like Cobra, Duragloss, etc. They're good...I like them....but the fibres tends to get a little 'stiff' after a few months of usage. Actually, my favourite is the open-nap Dodo Juice drying cloth but it cost A BOMB!! So, that's why my personal opinion is that Osren's one is currently best-bang-for-bucks.By the way, since you are using Osren drying cloth, may I know which one would be the better choice between their chamois and weaver cloth? I am using their chamois but feel that it is a bit fragile, it gets stretched to some irregular shape after I squeeze the water out, so I wonder how long this chamois can last. The large (60cm x 180cm) vs the small (30cm x 60cm) Osren's drying cloth. ![]() ![]() Some of the others. The HUGE white one is frm Dodo Juice ![]() |

Wah, thanks for sharing... I think I might need to buy some drying towels too... Currently using chamois which I bought from TaoBao... The chamois tends to be too absorbent and creates a lot of "drag" when I run it across my car which tires me very quickly.
You guys got any Teh Tarik session? I have a lot to learn from you sifus. My problem is I do not know what can or cannot be bought in Malaysia. I read a lot online but not all of them are available. Even if they are available, I do not know where to get them. |

Maybe you can call for one. I can try to get Osren, Sonax, Dodo Juice, IGreen, or some other reps to come over if you want.... Hrrrmm....comes to think of it....maybe I can list down links to online shops that sells them in the 1st page....the authorised ones, of course. Wonder whether that would be against the forum rules.... This post has been edited by KrisMas: Dec 4 2015, 10:10 AM |

QUOTE(benson92 @ Dec 4 2015, 10:10 AM) Repaint only when the damages are irrecoverable or too costly to correct/polish. Try to retain the original paint as far as you can. They are better quality than *normal* repaint...unless you can afford the proper good/better ones.... |

That would definitely help the newbies a lot if you can list down all the online shops and also the normal shops which are recommended and has a variety of products.Hrrrmm....comes to think of it....maybe I can list down links to online shops that sells them in the 1st page....the authorised ones, of course. QUOTE(vknight @ Dec 4 2015, 04:03 PM) Clay cloth had been around even before Optimum put one under their product line. I've used the one from Osren before and also another one that's call a clay block - which utilise the same rubber polymer but it's bonded to a stiff foam/sponge instead of a cloth. |

Is that factory painted paintwork ? Go to Ace Hardware look for the limited/not easy to find Meguiars M16. That is one of the best wax (for our climate) where you can find on the shelf...rest have to look for specific seller....Last know for M16 is Rm106 now...lasttime was Rm74 then become Rm86..most likely most of the can you found will not in good shape (open up and check inside, if its good..take it asap) |

Conclusion, i like M16 best haha easiest to remove among all and lasted quite long. I find gold wax among all the Meguiars wax, tried a few other brands but i prefer meguiars, trying sonax after ultimate wax finish maybe or ice wax.. |
