I think this keycap really attractive.
Considered most attractive novelties you shown after so long.

Ha ha! You have good taste. Dolly is fun. And the colour is bright and very cartoon-like. I enjoy it when the mood is relaxing and at ease.

But a lot of people still fall back to something that's symmetrical like the skull and BroBots. Something to do with keyboards being a symmetrical device as well.

QUOTE(strikefred0m @ Sep 19 2014, 07:46 PM)
hi all senior, need some advice here.

I would like to get myself a very first mechanical keyboard after a long thought, and the requirement as below:

1.) budget ~400
2.) blacklight
3.) some micro keys
4.) easy to press and "sound-able" (dont want silence type)

I done some research and the brand available for such range are Ducky, Corsair and Razer. So far the BlackWidow fulfilled all my requirement above especially on the macro key, but I heard there are also many people recom to avoid Razer if possible, is there any more suggestion that can fulfill my requirement above?

Thank a lot for helping on this!! Cheer

If u are looking for TKL with backlit and no need any sort of macros, I will recommend CM Storm Quickfire Rapid-I

hi newbie here, just bought a filco tkl and I already bored with it. :p

Any sort of modification I can do with this board?

I google search saw something about switch lubing, springs changing, stabilizer lubing, etc. Any of them is easy for beginner like me with 0 skill and knowledge?

Sorry if I posted in the wrong section or irritated keyboards gods with my stupidness. :/

For lubing, just avoid lubing those tactile switch. Later become linear feeling. laugh.gif
Most of what you mentioned can be done by a beginner. icon_idea.gif

So, back to the changing spring.
What kind of spring weight you are looking for?

Yep, and if you're afraid of doing soldering work, you can always ask for help from few guys here. And maybe spend on universal plate where you can easily remove switch top housing without desoldering/soldering, incase if you ever plan of modifying the switch again.

Finally figured out how to turn off the bloody side LED on the Viper.
Looks like I am the bloody idiot who keeps misunderstanding the instructions

The method is:
make sure side LED is on.
press 'R' to change the modes
press the 'LED CTRL' key. Which is most of the time, the 'TAB' key.

For future references. biggrin.gif

If just lubing the costar stabs no need desolder, only remove keycaps for that particular keys will do.
If need lubing for switches, desolder is needed.

I like the Noppoo keycaps colour scheme though. Almost same as HHKB keycaps colour scheme right?

It's not Topre.
It's Noppoo's own capacitive switch.
