Damn, I paid RM900+ for my Realforce 87U(from Elitekeyboard) when I could've gotten a HHKB for a much cheaper price.
*
But you got a legendary switch 55g keyboard whereas amazon jp don't have this keyboard.
HHKB using 45g Topre only.

Do you like your current keyboard? Nice to type on?

Cos i think it looks quite cool and high quality. Cos' i'm in Aussie and its quite highly rated here.
So was wondering why not much talk about it over in Malaysia. hmm.gif
*
Let's just analyse it in logic way.

DAS 4 pro:
- high quality
- standard layout (easier for aftermarket keycaps replacement)
- cool for you

cons:
- expensive shipping to M'sia (Price Factor)
- ugly oversize volume knob (REDUNDANT things ever on keyboard), we want to get keyboard not volume controller.
- Full-size layout (non-ergonomics, DAS do not offer TKL/60% layout series for typists)

Conclusion, the oversize knob and price (including shipping) and FULL-SIZE layout really big turn offs.
Whereby, I can get a Filco TKL (Japanese brand) with top 1 quality in manufactured keyboard with reasonable price (~RM369).

Those high rated things <-- please don't believe, ppl also high rate Razer here thanks to those reviews.
In this forum, you will start listen to a lot of brands you don't even know they exist in the first place.
Like Realforce, PFU, Filco, Keycool, Plum, CM, etc. wub.gif

Most of the laymen only knows Razer, SteelSeries, DAS, Corsair etc when they know mechanical keyboards.

True, what you said.  nod.gif

Especially the part on how most laymen only know razer, ss, Das, corsair. haha.

What about those with exotic switches. Thinking of KBP v60. they have clear, white, green, and other exotic. smile.gif

edit: but actually, i didn't know Das consider what most Laymen know. hmm.gif thought its quite rare in Malaysia
*
When I was a layman, I know DAS, because I saw some video on youtube.
It's extremely rare in M'sia, but not rare in internet. laugh.gif

Most ppl don't even know those uncommon switches like clear, grey, white, green, existed.
They only know red, black, brown, blue.
I think if you like heavy switch, then you can go for clear (tactile), green (clicky+tactile)..

Btw, why you want to get a mechanical keyboard?
But originally, your first choice asking about DAS, I guess you are a professional or under/post grad. rolleyes.gif

Jailhouse blue = MX Blue variants
ergo Clear, panda Clear = MX Clear variants
Custom mod stocked switches. smile.gif

Some like stocked MX Clear (Kai sensei) more than ergo Clear.
Some like ergo Clear than stocked. So, really depends on pref of each people. laugh.gif

I'm surprised, no offense, to find so many MechKB enthusiasts in Malaysia. Before coming to Aussie I only use RM10 keyboard. But now use Mech already, no turning back!

Why no turning back?

Ducky is a good keyboard brand.
If you only want simple backlit, then is Ducky Shine Zero 2108S, not fancy as Ducky Shine 3. thumbup.gif
