Pretty stupid decision on the PCB material. This is not a mass manufactured item but a modder's PCB. That means it is meant to be soldered/desoldered multiple times over its lifetime. PCB burning the first time solder is applied is not what I would want to call, good PCB quality. I used 350'C with eutectic solder, the type with silver. The solder pad burns and some of them lifted halfway.

If someone where to desolder this keyboard with full LEDs mounted, good luck. He's gonna burn so many things.

The toothpick is doing its job just fine.

Mine doesn't burn, just led soldering parts are slightly frustrated. As the smd resistors and diodes are very close and compact, a finger slipped then ur pcb will get the "white" mark  :x .
SS plate really dampen the sounds alot  :hehe:

Out of curiousity, since duck pcb quality is bad, why not spend on other 60% pcb? I find all 60% layout are similar anyway, maybe with few alteration (no no dont get angry ). For the price ( around 1k? ), they should provide better quality pcb.

I am using it now and seems ok for now. the feedback is better than the normal domes and not as noisy as the green or blue switches.
