most of the time you would have to push it in harder and further to make you feel better.

Guys, is there a keyboard that is full size, backlit, AND with clear switches? Preferably that costs in rm400 range. Poisoned my friend with my clear ducky, but he insists on having them backlit, and also within that budget.

Uv abs. Not that Gooding. If you want you can get bare board I'll sell you my keycaps from wasd
*
Ohh. Better get keycaps by vortex, if got extra moolah, something from sp. Urging my friend to forgo the backlit, and get my ducky clears. Still nego on the price.

QUOTE(belfong @ Sep 7 2014, 09:03 PM)
Yeah, I agree, it is better to buy bare boards from WASDKeyboards and then buy good keycap set separately, although, I don't think you can do that for the Code keyboard.

if you wanna get code only then have to buy from the store. else, if you're okay with backlighting and if you're okay with red switches then you can get my wasd keyboard hehe

Been loving the tactile feel since the first time using the mkb, not change to non-linear no time soon.

MSI's GT80 Titan laptop with a mechanical keyboard coming soon
http://www.pcper.com/news/Mobile/MSIs-GT80...ard-coming-soon

seems nice for a laptop user wanting an integrated mech keyboard.

I just wonder though how heavy it's gonna be :/

Also laptops aren't exactly good value compared to desktops, because harder to keep most components to upgrade to future tech e.g. motherboard.
putting mech keyboards aside for laptops, i've usually found Lenovo laptops to have better keyboards on their laptops for some reason.

With the weight, IMO its better to bring a separate keyboard, at least you have the freedom of a detachable keyboard. Also, thinkpad keyboards are IMO, the best laptop keyboard that I have ever used. thumbup.gif

Thinkpads have bad keyboards now.
And the 15" thinkpads have keyboards with numpads. What an abomination!

You are right on the lugging a separate keyboard.
1 ultrabook - 2KG

plus

Filco - 1kg
Poker sized 500g plateless, 800g with plate

or add your korean custom 87
2.5kg

Still beats the MSI.

the modern thinkpads I dont know already. the most modern ive used is the x220, and for something with a 12inch screen, its damn good wey.
