The perception of Rawang and BTP is the key issue. Not easy to change it. However, LY can focus more selling its township master plan and walk the talk. Current environment at BTP doesnt appeal to younger generation yet. Put aside the distance, the town itself now looks dull and landscape like public or govetment owned road or township unlike other private township. You don't feel the grand and nice with wonderful green and landscape feel which can offset the frustration on its distance. Dont use DPC (Eeveryone too bore to use as not many can match it) but look at EcoWorld, they are selling dream and the fantastic landscape in EcoMajestic. Then ppls start to think about the sacrify of distance is worth it. Now if you drive around BTP, it is no different from other taman taman without landcape design at all. Lowyat is cash rich and the land cost is so cheap. They should have a lot of budget to do up the landscape nicely rather than think about paying bangsarbabe to sell the affordable property.. Lol.

Now you see.. the prophecy is talking rclxms.gif
could not agree more on your points.
What BTP needs more is on the education or perception change of the name "Rawang" itself...
when you talk about education and perception change.. not easy lor

but the arcacia price is really affordable no doubt thumbup.gif

maybe plus few more bloggers like foodporn bangsarbabe or eatdrinkkl or fourfeetnine able to sell extra few units wink.gif
i am sure blog who also can blog but the question would this new gen blogger stay at this area there is another question..

atleast when the hot bangsarbabe blog about Ken Rimba, she herself bought a unit there notworthy.gif

but i like your idea of getting PT to blog BTP. Definitely need a car for this area. biggrin.gif

Dear Admin,

I want to check what is the design of the road side in front of the house.?? I just book a unit for Garden Height Phase 5. I discover that if design type 1 as attached is not convenience for car to park beside the road as nowadays family will come with 2 or 3 cars. As currently i saw the design is type 1 for Garden Height phase 1 & 2. Maybe you can consider to design as type 2 as it is more modern design and can provide more space for car to park outside the house.

Interesting comment!

A quick check with Top 30 property developers in The Edge Malaysia Property Excellence Awards 2014

Don't think Low Yat is listed, so may not be appropriate to compare them with Eco world who ran by the former SP Setia team, proven team

For Low Yat I believe there must be a reason they are not there yet, but judging from how early phases are executed

It may take time to be like Eco World, or it may not even able to in this life time simply, due to

Diff class, in mindset, caliber, pple and resources

Hi all

Just found the thread. I'm new here but 'old' in BTP. Been here since 2002.

It is a good effort from the developer to have this kind of platform to get in touch and reply all the queries from the buyers.

As senior, to newbies BTP, let hopes for the best but please don't put too high expectation with the township.

Wise word indeed.

I think to put expectation for BTP to become a township like Setia Alam or maybe even Eco World are a bit too far-fetched. However, I think it is reasonable if we expect LYG to deliver the things that they have promised such as BTP interchange, shopping mall, etc. At least basic amenities have to be there in BTP.

LYG, you have to make sure you deliver your promise otherwise there will be a lot of pissed people that has put their trust in your group. Your reputation is indeed on the line with this one. cool2.gif

I don't think the developer will revamp Birch in the near future.
I believe now they are concentrating on Garden Heights, Acacia Park & Medan Puteri 2 as well as the BTP interchange.

One of the thing that I think LYG has to work on is the existing houses in BTP. BTP in general does not have a good reputation, considering that there are quite a numbers of old houses that were abandoned, being lelong, and have very bad maintenance. If you're heading to GH show unit, you can see a lot of old houses that were poorly maintained and this would give a bad impression on BTP as overall.

I'm just saying that this could be a turn off for some of the buyers.

Nothing to agree more with you MrHunter.

Perhaps the developer will enhance the BTP landscape especially around traffic light area (this is another main focus point for BTP beside the main entrance) and also Puteri Center Park. Although the PCP already handover to MPS, it is a 'GOOD' investment for the developer to upgrade the BTP looks and values!

Talking about the LATAR Exit, yes it was used as selling point during our time (>10 years back).
The same strategy been used now... and I really hope this time around it will materialize... or else 'pisang akan berbuah berkali-kali'.

In normal circumstances, any new Exit will carry adding price with the property near by. I predict the rules will same apply to BTP.

Went there last week my perception the area still under develop maybe need another 10 years catch up. The house actual build up is very small i think only 18x50 and I not too like the design.
