Seriously, if it was damage, you're screwed. If you can' use a wire or something to press the pin down, its best to send to Xiaomi Official SC to ask for help. They can do it without damaging your sim pin and retaining the warranty.

I think simple solution is not to use the damn adapter lol either use full size sim or micro sim thts it. If you got nano sim go get it changed from ur network service provider. I would rather not risk using adapter seeing that Xiaomi already provides you two different kinds of sim trays. hmm.

The new MI3 does not have micro sim tray anymore unless you buy separately from external source or Xiaomi China...

My friend stupidly inserted the sim card tray together with an empty sim card adapter. The simcard tray is now stuck and how should I take it out?

Thanks
*
how much did you manage to freely pull it out before it got stuck? perhaps if there is a small gap, you could insert a nano sim in there to push the pins up.

The thing is if the gap is large enuf to put in a sim card, there's high risk of the pin being bended as well.

LOL... why did you quote my reply back in May???

Can eject a bit? If got some space, maybe can cut those transparent plastic we used for binding project, to the same width as the sim tray. Then try insert it and push it in, see can hold the pin flat against the adapter or not lor. If can, then congratulations... slow slow pull out lor. Else, I also dont know how I can help you.

You'll destroy the pin. Best thing to do is to send back to service centre.

btw, so it's like "one journey" if using simcard adapter? sweat.gif ...hopefully I can eject mine just in case... also xiaomi should have the accessories on sales on their website for the simcard adapter, at least..

You can try "TextSecure". Works fine for me so far.

Anyone else having the same problem? Especially reading QR-Code from monitor? Too much "waves of lines" or as people said anti-banding.

But sadly anti-banding option is not available when using Google Authenticator, Barcode scanner etc apps.

These issues doesn't happen on my ol Xperia S tho... anyone got the solutions?
