I've just installed CWM. Is it safe to delete the files in Aroma Filemanager? I tried to select all and delete but the phone froze.

Oh.. Finally back in Malaysian v14 rom. Dev rom was fun. Decided to stop fiddling with roms flashing before my nand flash and battery wears down due to the frequency of flashing. I flash about one or two times per day, trying out various roms. I think I still prefer the Malaysian stable rom overall.

Well, there's a guide on the internet, basically you need to download miflash, fastboot ROM, download the Malaysian stable ROM.

Flash it with fastboot ROM first via miflash, and then install the Malaysian stable ROM as update. That's my way lar. I haven't found a way to like really have a clean install without CWM. So what I did is after installing the Malaysian ROM, I did a factory reset in settings.

On which firmware? Can you guys please at least state which firmware are you on before lashing out with something like this?

Which rom are you on? If you are on the Jellybean, it seems not much diff in performance. Since v18 Kitkat update, they tuned down the performance of the Balanced mode and the benchmark is about 25k+- in Balanced mode while 34k+- in Performance mode.

On the other hand, Jellybean 4.3, the battery and performance didn't differ much (I guess they didn't really get the config right)

In conclusion, Balanced mode slower performance but better battery performance. Go with Balanced mode for daily use, and Performance mode when playing graphic intensive games.

KitKat bug most likely. Jellybean no such problem

Guys do you guys drain the battery and fully charge it after each updates or flashing?

I'm not sure if this is necessary for a full fastboot flash. As full fastboot flash overwrites everytthing on the phone, thus a new fresh battery calibration?

I switched off my mi3 to charge most of the time, but yesterday i fell asleep without waiting it to fully charge.
My mi3 won't auto cut when charging overnight. The phone was a little bit hot when I touched it.

I suggest don't do overnight charging or plug in your mi3 after 100%.

Yeah my thoughts are like that too. But the charger is perfectly new. How can it be spoiled. One month plus only?

By the way I switched off my phone. There is no possible way it an app can run. This phone gave me a lot problems and worries since I bought it. Any takers?

I suspect the cut off chip spoiled due to constant ROM flashing for the past few weeks.

By the way or your room got aircon so you didn't feel it?
