that problem only happen when the message come from non-contacts sender.
if message from your contacts, it will be fine.

Strange, upon update to V23 the bug solved, at lease for my phone..

Anyway i hardly us SMS nowsdays, with Whatsapp, WeChat, Line, who need SMS...

fake mi3 spotted...

cpu-z bug maybe.

mtk6582 only clocked at 1.3ghz max. this shown 2.26ghz.
and the gpu is adreno330.

Hi Guys,

I just got my Xiaomi today and a new Android user. Hope you guys can help advise me the following,

1. What is the icon on top of the screen (circle in red)?
2. How do I change the chinese language in month and date (circle in red) to english? My language currently in Settings is English (US).
3. Does the sim tray fits the normal sim? It looks very big to me.

the ori sim tray provided is using normal sim card size or we call it as mini sim...

the red circle thing is chinese words...mean bulan tujuh

1. The icon mean no sim card insert.
2. Cant be change...it follow the theme.
3. Advise u go change standard sim card. Not recomend use sim adaptor. Unless u go buy Mi3 micro sim tray. RM10 only.

not really..i've tested with number in contact and not in contact list.both produce the same behaviour with below condition:
-> if the same messaging session running (not closing the app using the long press menu button), it will be fine...but once u close the app, and open the new messaging instance, the problem appear..
i've tried it multiple times on my phone and it produce the same result.
at least for my phone..

im using google hangout for a while hoping it will be fixed.

I did not connect the headphone but when I test for the headphone mic feedback test there is some weird sound keep coming, means the headphone side faulty eh?

u can remove the clock widget and use other similar widget.
