Maybe Konami really not good at that way.... but for me, the graphic, music and commentator compare to previous one, is much more improve.

hahaha, felt the same everytime i posted something here. i hope nobody is taking anything here personally; i'm not bashing you or your choice to play/like the game, i'm bashing THE GAME ITSELF. deep inside, maybe im just a frustrated pes-fan (an ex now )

anyway, here's what i LIKE about 360 PES2008:

-some of the player models are done very nicely. for instance, christina of portugal (manu fan, dont marah ok! ) the facial textures are good

-i used to like PES series because imho, NO 2 goals are the same. sometimes things get chaotic in the box and the ball deflected like 10 times before hitting the net. its 'funny', in a good way. that's still there

-sometimes the players pull some dribbling moves that are very nice and just as effective to get pass the opponent. i know you can pull them via some button combination but i never bother to learn them

-ada referee on the pitch! but i hate it that i have to wait till he blew the whistle before the game can be continued!

Tried the demo recently.
Based on that, I prefer the previous PS2 version (haven't tried the latest).
Hugely disappointing. (again, based on the demo)

Pre-Ordered

Here's an update to the PES/WE pre-order program I shared earlier.

After chatting to Play Interactive, the distributor, they have confirmed that the version they will be bringing in is actually Winning Eleven 2008, NOT PES 2008.

It's the first time Konami is making an Asian version for this region, hence the confusion.

Play Interactive also mentioned that there should be no difference between the Jap WE 2008 and this Asian WE 2008 except for the pricing and language. (The Jap ver will have Jap voiceovers and English menu, while the Asian ver is expected to have English voiceovers and menu. It is unsure at this point in time if the Asian ver also has Jap voiceovers.)

The RRP for the Asian WE 2008 is RM189.

Remember, for those that pre-ordered, if you are the first 11 in line, you get the numbered (#1 to #11) limited edition WE 2008 jersey instead of the the t-shirt. Customers #12 to #50 get a WE 2008 t-shirt.

all i can say is...the replay sux to the max

my bro got the game WE 2008 yesterday..
free a football jersey number 4.. my bro wanna change number but said cannot.. haha..

anyway.. test the game out last nite.. a bit diff than the last time i played with PS2.. but it looks ok.. graphic wise is definitely better than fifa.. gameplay also better.. just sometimes duno y the running makes me feel like they r joggin with the ball..

maybe i need to play few more times to get use to it..
i played at 1145 last nite until 1 laa.. i need to work today.. hahaha

as i know... the replay got 2 types.... u need to press "Y" to change the type to default replay as we used before....
